I have the weekend off work and I'm going to a very chill wedding that I have no responsibility to organize, so it's nice. Also the storm last night took the edge off of the heat

Maybe in 4800 years people will share jokes about ancient 21st century doomsaying to poke fun of doomsayers in the 69th century, and someone will respond,

"back when the fastest a human could travel was on a combustion-propelled rocket in space.

back when the long distance strategic weapon was a nuclear ICBM."

I don't get it. Is this post just a joke that handwritten letters are old-fashioned compared to typed letters and emails, or simply poking fun at the writer's "old-fashioned" religious beliefs? I don't see anything historical.

If you are the addressee of the letter then I offer my sympathy, it hurts when family find reasons not to be there for the most important days of your life. If you are the addressee then I wish you a happy wedding!

I really enjoyed doing a high-Motorics ultralib superstar run. Become an action movie hero cop. Having high Perception and Reaction Speed skills reveals SO MUCH useful information.

But to be honest I don't think there's ever been a playstyle that I DIDN'T enjoy.

Rock gnomes have been the archetypical race for artificer-themed characters since long before artificers were added to the game. You get bonuses to Intelligence and Constitution, which are both good for an artificer who's wearing armor on the front line. You also get extra utility out of tinker's tools, and you double your proficiency bonus for Intelligence (History) checks related to any magical item, alchemical object, or technological device. Plus, Gnome Cunning is a solid defensive feature for any role.

"Solve The Open Hand Murders." Too much running around, no real emotional payoff when speaking to the clergy of Ilmater after solving the murders, and Inspector Valeria is just complete and utter ass and I hate her. Why is there no option to say "IF BRILGOR 'OFFED HIMSELF' THEN WHY WASN'T THERE A MURDER WEAPON ON HIS PERSON YOU SHITEY LITTLE ELEPHANT?!"

I love throwing weapons (and enemies) but dang, this game uses an unrealistically high arc for throwing spears, daggers, and axes. I hate that Path Interrupted warning 😖
