I didn't realize google had done it already. What a real fucking shame. Goddamnit.
Which is hilarious, because most of the shit out there today seems to be written by them.
Thorough gets me every goddamned time.
Yeah. Everyone forgot the second half of "Trust, but Verify". If I ask an LLM a question, I'm only doing it because I'm not 100% sure how to look up the info. Once it gives me the answer, I'm checking that answer with sources because it has given me a better ability to find what I was looking for. Trusting an LLM blindly is just as bad as going on Facebook for healthcare advice.
If I see anyone wearing this is in the street, I will not hesitate to kick the shit out of them.
Tom Cruise is a terrible person and the money he has funnelled into Scientology is directly attributed to the enslavement and murder of others. Do not watch his movies. Do not watch his trailers. Do not support him in any way. He is a poison to humanity, and should be treated as such.
Cool. Anything to add about the post?
That's exactly what I was going to say. His prose is breathtaking.
Can anyone who isn't on the board of an HOA tell me what benefit they've gained from being part of an HOA?
Lmao, Sarah J Maas catching strays.
There was a Fiat on fire on the side of the road earlier. Italy answers the call!
Jesus is coming back and he's pissed...
My Florida High School experience was in the 90s, and I had the same thing. I'm slowly realizing as I get older how much I was lied to, either by omission, or just straight up bullshit. My favorite one that was until I watched Hamilton, I believed that the French betrayed us during the Revolutionary War and fought for England. I distinctly remember being taught that Lafayette sank American ships and allowed the British to advance. It's fucking wild.
One of my other lovely examples of mis-education is dowsing rods. I thought that shit worked. It never came up in my life, but my grandfather told me that he dowsed the land we all lived on to dig the well, and I just bought it. Much, much later I thought about it, and I was like, "Wait, that's not real, right? What's the science behind that?" And I looked it up. Bullshit.
Hey! Look at this comment! It didn't fucking need to exist. At all. Ever. What the fuck.
If only it weren't for those damned Hobbits.
Elect a puppet, get a puppet. If anyone looked at Trump's bankroll for the election and thought, "Wow, what a bunch of great people donating for a better tomorrow," you are out of your fucking mind.
I'm in the "make up an excuse and don't show up" camp. If I went to a friend's family gathering and my friend tried to pawn me off on a relative with a conversation starter, I'd probably have to leave. I don't go anywhere without an exit plan, and I've been known to dip out of restaurant waiting areas because it was too crowded to be comfortable while I wait. Last year I skipped a concert for my favorite band that I paid extra to get the VIP passes for just because I couldn't even think about being in the crowd. Social anxiety is a real problem, and I appreciate you giving some input on how to help others deal with it. I'll add by saying that if you know a friend has a hard time with it, be upfront and ask them if they are comfortable with the situation BEFORE the get together. Let them know if you will be there with them the whole time, or if they will be flying solo. I don't not want to go to social gatherings, I just need to have my ins and my outs sorted before I dive headfirst into one.
Begun, the Bullshit Wars have.
Could be from the Pacific North West if that ceiling were 3 foot lower.

Think about all of the things he has seen, all of the worlds he has explored, all of the green women he has slept with, and when he is faced with death, it shocks even him, to the extent that all he can say is, "Oh, my." I'm not sure how popular this scene is among the Star Trek Zeitgeist, but I imagine it's probably hated. I, however, love it. Feel free to tell me how I'm wrong in the comments.
I have a Steam Deck, and I love it. It can handle 90% of my library, and it's always improving.
I decided to try out a linux distro for my OS, because the biggest drawback has always been the hoops that I had to jump through to get games up and running. I went for Pop OS, since that seemed to be natively friendly with NVidia, and the lowest barrier for entry. However, in Steam, I see that there is a much more limited selection of games compatible with my system. Is there a way around that, to get the same selection as my Steam Deck? Or is it this way because the Steam Deck is a singular platform that is developed for based on specific architecture?
