thank you for taking the time to write this. it helped me understand everything a bit more.

and as for your question about how he feels cared for: quality time. so he already got his "form of getting cared for" because we spent quality time together on valentines on top of my "form of getting cared for" (a gift). so in a way i feel like he got the best of both worlds whereas i was left with none, when ironically i was the one communicating (long before) that i value holidays

i understand that in regards to the issue we're fighting about. However the issue has nothing directly to do with the holidays and showing you still care about each other on speacial days, so im just wondering if using the issues to not do that is valid in other peoples opinions
