apparently that great depression era style canned chicken is $25, so theyre paying like 5 times more than if they would have used a frozen chicken. i wouldnt trust the decisions of anyone that has seriously tried that recipe out.

Despite being 41 y/o, I've never been married. Still, I had one relationship with a partner that was 5-6 years long, and I still maintain friendly contact with her. We can spend hours talking on the phone despite that I generally hate talking on the phone. I jokingly refer to her as my exwife. Now, that I know what to look for, I'm certain she's autistic. My favorite friends are autistic as well. They speak just like me. They have cool obsessions with interesting topics just like me. They share similar confusions with social matters just like me. I think I just get along better with us because we understand each other on a deeper level. I have no anger or judgement towards NTs, and I have NT friends that are great people with admirable characteristics and contributions. Nobody is better or worse. However, when it comes to developing that deep friendship bond, I seem to mostly do it with us.
Sounds fun. Don't forget about Losing My Religion! I play guitar and drums. When I first started with guitar, I only played covers as if the only thing that mattered was my technical capacity. Once I learned a scale out if curiosity, I discovered a wholeeeee new world. I no longer bother with covers. I recently realized that it's pretty evident I'm autistic to others after watching a video of me being interviewed. I had a reaction to that which is relevant to this comic. I wondered, "Wait, when people give me praise, is it because they think I have brain problems, so they're not authentic, rather just encouraging me?" My autism therapist said that it could be both, but probably most of them are authentic because I have some strengths that I don't realize I have. I guess I do some things naturally that most people would have difficulty with or not even be capable of. So maybe sometimes when people say you're strong, they really mean it, but for reasons you might not be aware of.
