And I'm getting annoyed by hexbear's obsessive need to "dunk" on lemmy users, it's approaching le epic reddit army levels. And the sanctimonious rationalizing of it, as if it wasn't just a fun tribal activity but actually totally fighting the good fight.
Who fucking cares if blahaj or whatever think we're evil tankies who run over people with tanks in our free time? I'm tired of every post on the frontpage being hexbears patting each other on the back for sending PPB to some liberal. I don't mind federation itself, but I hate how its melting hexbear brains.

Body pillows actually rule. They're so fkn comfy if you sleep on your side. They get a bad rep because of weird nerds putting their waifus on them, but unironically, I recommend them 10/10.

I'm not gonna reply again, it's a gibberish response and my time would be better spent arguing with my labrador retriever. This person believes finance capitalism is an unchangeable fact of nature, all their arguments boil down to "well everyone's doing it, so it's moral and smart actually and not greedy". Tell them to think outside of that pathetically narrow box and they'll throw a temper tantrum before going back to rimming their boss' asshole. Good grief, you're such a pathetic fucking bootlicker. You're a freaking peasant like the rest of us, you'll never be a billionaire no matter how much you defend their abhorrent business practices, but you're too much of a worm to even do the bare minimum of complaining on reddit. No, not only are you too much of a slimy little earthworm to complain, you defend your corporate overlords on here, you defend them squeezing as much profit out of the world as possible so they can buy their 3rd and 4th yacht and fuck minors on Epstein island, and then you call the system that enables them to do that the "best system humans have ever created".
These people could literally grab you by your ears and piss down your throat and you would thank them for it. Stop hiding behind this "that's just how the world works" mentality and question the status quo for once in your life. Corporations maximizing profits at all costs is not a law of nature, it's not an unchangeable fact of life, it's the result of an economic system that was created and can be changed by people, unfortunately bootlickers like you would rather take a bullet for their corporate overlords before letting any kind of systemic change happen.

Got very pissed off at a bootlicker on reddit and want to post my rant in here because the comment will probably be deleted cause of namecalling or some dumb shit
Saw the last 45 minutes of GotG 3 and it really feels like it's just throwing moment after moment at you, but like, not in a good way. Like it's ticking off all the boxes on a list.
It's the McDonald's of cinema. Does it do the job? Yeah. I'm still entertained by all the funky, stylized action scenes and even the AI-generated emotional scenes where they all talk about their feelings and how friendship is the most important thing or whatever, even though I've seen it a million times it still kinda gets me. But it's like you consume it and it just exits your brain right away. It's too much too quickly for anything to stick.
The only thing I really can't take seriously anymore is "heroic sacrifice" scenes. I can't buy into those at all, they never feel earned or authentic. And my standards for "authenticity" are very low when it comes to Marvel movies. I mean, the new GotG had a freakin' telekinetic dog and in the big action scene someone says "He's a very good dog" and I can put up with that kind of pandering, I can turn off my brain and go "hahaha good doggo" if I have to, but those stupid sacrifice scenes with the big orchestra soundtrack, nah, I don't buy it.
Good lord, Marvel slop is just so sensory overload at this point.
Especially since there's some real horror stories from people who tried them
