My pleasure
The public transport system will make you feel like you're in the 2030s. Super simple. Have your smart phone or smart watch connected to a credit card, or just have a chipped credit card, and you boop your way in any transport, you boop your way out and it charges you for whatever distance you traveled.
The hotels are incredibly expensive there and we didn't take one in the old city, but somewhere at a reasonable distance from a subway station a little further from the city center.
Do not neglect the possibility to bike in the city. We were walking everywhere, or taking trams or the subway, and I wish we biked more.
Boat tours are cool, you learn a lot. Lots of museums to visit. And if you can afford it, try these restaurants for an extraordinary experience : Wilde Zwijnen (The Wild Pig) and Moeders (Mothers).
You can visit Windmills with a 40 minutes bus ride. Pretty nice things to see and to taste (cheese!!!).
I visited Amsterdam last month and loved every bit of it.
I visited Amsterdam a month ago, it was awesome Why not?
I visited Brussels this a month ago, I loved it.
Not bad! Haha.
Gotta ask the generation algorithm.
I wanted something reminiscent of Mass Effect, and I decided to choose a creature that is immensely hard to kill, from an alternative dimension.
Meet : The Tardigod. A mechanical tardigrade entity that migrated on a futuristic earth, and a few soldiers are getting ready to fight it.
Here's is the prompt : an enormous mechanical tardigrade, with lights and lasers, from another dimension attacking earth, from the point of view of 3 futuristic soldiers on top of the mountain. The tardigrade covers part of the horizon and is descending upon a cyberpunk earth that is one huge city with tall buildings and lights, at sunset. The 3 futuristic soldiers appear ready for a fight.
I mean, you're not wrong.
Built this in Starfield
I remember the time when Subway used to serve their sandwiches with the strip of bread on top. Those were the good old days.
For those who remember Geocities, you can still visit those old websites that people used to create for themselves. https://www.oocities.org/
The Joker's minions knew
Hugging yes, but with a very limited range of friends, and I don't have much.
I'm okay with a guy initiating a hug, but sometimes it takes me by surprise. But it's a good surprise.
I feel it's acceptable, just doesn't happen often.

TL;DR : I create weekly SF comics just for the fun of it, using screenshots, AI and FIgma, and you can read them on my Facebook page.
So, I'm following the podcast "Starfield with normal people", and participate to their weekly Starfield Adventure Club that's organized on their Discord server. This eventually made me want to create a Starfield cartoon.
I never thought I had such a talent for storytelling. After a very tough 2023, Starfield helped me go through depression. And now those comics are part of my recovery as well. But things are not always fun, and I think it would encourage me to get feedback and ideas from readers.
I use a lot of AI to help me with this comic, which is the most fun part. ChatGPT helps me with dialogues. I feed him what I want my characters to say and he suggest lines, which I often combine for the funniest effect. I've been using some Midjourney as well for cover pages and especially for the prologue in the first episode. For those who want to know, I use Figma to put all of that together.
In this post, I uploaded my one favorite panel of each episode (I have 14 so far). Hope you'll enjoy.
If you want to read my comic, and get updates, the easiest way is through my Facebook page. I also post them on DeviantArt, but this website is making things super hard to any non-paying member and I don't know how long i'll keep using it.
You don't have to love it, or even read it. Just be nice please. I'm getting through shit.
Thanks, all!
Hi beer lovers. I'm just finishing a trip in Belgium and Amsterdam. I tried a lot of beers during my stay. I took notes.
While I'm sure I can find some/most of the beers I've tasted back home in Canada, I was wondering if there is an app, or a website, that can recommend other beer based on my own tastes. Like, if I rate the beer I drink based on my tastes, the engine could recommend other beers of a cumuler kind and taste.
I've been searching such a tool for half an hour and I didn't find anything that resembles this.
All the beer apps I've found so far were to rate beer, and find local places where they sell your favourite beer. I want to discover new beers.
Any suggestions?

Made with Midjourney.
Prompt : a creepy, scary nightmarish easter bunny entering a kids bedroom at night, with a basket of eerie looking black eggs. Nightmare style, stuff of nightmare.

Dear mobile game devs. When I play games like that, I always wonder if it's the physics engine that's actually random and produces the result?
Or is the result calculated before the animation happens, and dictates the animation?
I've always wondered. I have some notion of programming, but from far back, and I've been scratching my head long enough about this.
Thanks in advance.

My young son and I have been watching the Harry Potter movies since the holidays, it's his first time watching them.
We did this together earlier today.
