I don't know how it works in the US but isn't it normal that child care cost are higher than rent or mortgage? Unless you count as child care older kids (like above 3), you can't expect a single worker to take care of more than 3 babies, and rent should be around 1/3 of income. So typical cost of daycare for 1 kif should be about typical cost of housing for 1 worker, no? For reference here in France, my mortgage is about 1300€/month and daycare (full time, private) for one child is 1400€/month, (of which about 700€ is paid by the state).

100 is a bit much, a good ebike can cost several thousands. IMHO the main driver for adoption is the availability of dedicated infrastructure. I can afford an EV but chose to use a bike because the infrastructure is excellent where I live and it allows me to avoid traffic and congestion.

C'est ça l'internationalisme ?) C'est complètement hypocrite. La Russie est une puissance nucléaire, certe, mais la France aussi. La dissuasion nucléaire va dans les deux sens. Si l'Europe avait envoyé des troupes au sol avant l'invasion, il n'y aurait peut-être pas de conflit aujourd'hui. Ces dictatures profitent de la faiblesse de nos démocraties, et afficher en doctrine qu'on n'interviendra jamais contre elles ne fait que nous mettre en danger, et surtout mettre en danger nos alliés qui n'ont pas la chance d'être planqué tout au bout de l'Europe.
