  • I would like to clarify that this wasn’t removed by an admin. The post in case was removed by a mod, and the mods of that particular community are at this moment discussing to what extend the rules should be taken literally.

I am not sure why you are angry at us (the admins), but if it’s anything I can help with feel free to reach out.

  • I’m about 99% sure the US does exactly the same. Nowadays hacking is a serious tool of war that you can’t ignore.

  • Greenhouses are my weird obsession. Probably not very useful for most colonies, but just look so nice.

  • Rimworld for me. I would only end a session when shit hit the fan.

  • Is this worth the price? How long does it take to beat?

  • That is one beautiful graph, damn

  • FYI: admins can see all reports. We currently have a tool running that scans for posts that are reported a lot, which will then notify people who can do something about it.

  • I’m planning on making something like that, but am first focussing on improving the features we already have.

  • Happy cakeday!

  • That would need to be a bot. The problem is that the spammer would just move on to the next community (which they have just done by moving to askLemmy@lemmy.ml I just put a tool up that automatically notifies a bunch of admins, mods and community team members when a post get's reported more than 3 times, so please report the posts if you see them.

  • As far as I know we already use a filter, but I think this was faked/generated and thus wasn’t in it’s database.

  • Hello,

I’m an admin for lemmy.world and I want to apologize for the way to slow reaction here. CP should be talen down on sight, and we failed to do that in time.

I will be discussing with the other admins on how to fix this in the future. Till then I can say nothing else then: sorry.

  • I heard that someone was developing a tool to enable this

  • This helps us the most.

  • Been working on that (:

  • Yea, no clue, very annoying to deal with. I've been building tools to allow us to delete them faster. Some information on how it currently works: if a post get's reported more than 3 times in a short time, some people get notified and they can identify whether it's spam and then instantly delete it. We also have an automod made by Rooki which has a list of blacklisted URL's. If anyone has any ideas on how to improve this, feel free to share.
