  • Nice, I like river crossing maps

  • Less than 2 weeks everybody. Remember it is allowed to repost in this contest. So if you see a colony and think you can beat it, go for it. Keep it as fair as possible though

  • You kill your colonists so you can cook them with fungus, of course

  • Bed rest at a higher priority than tending can lead to this

  • Wealth / attack strength are linear after a couple of years, with of course some random variation. I am not sure about skills & age, but their apparel and bionics do count

  • Welcome to the club. Over 7000 hours and I still forget to turn on survival meals during caravans

  • That's what Cassandra does, she will find a way to destroy you. She doesn't destroy gameplay, but the odds of survival. So you have to hurry and get that ship moving because sticking around getting wealthier means the end of your colony. Randy just leaves it to luck.

    And for the record, with late game I mean at least 15 years

  • Cassandra is nice to start with but late game she will have her way so then I usually switch to Randy,

  • Build the most efficient, fully operational hospital. The hospital with the most occupied hospital beds wins

    Use the hospital mod

    Other allowed mods: Combat Extended, QOL, decorative mods
    Not allowed: balancing mod like storage enhancers, trading manipulators
    Play at your own difficulty level. Feel free to mention it in your post description

  • I need all of those trees for my traps. What trees? Yeah, well...

  • Fires can actually jump 5 tiles since 1.2 iirc. It used to be 3

  • Asking everybody for advice on the suggested bit rate settings, as it's by default only 8FPS, they are probably currently rather high.

  • I would recommend at least one firefoam popper for your growing area. Do you have a plan for the circular open space?

  • It only destroyed one tile, but then some colonists thought it would be a good idea to clean the place while the gang-of-musclemen was assembling to knock it down. So it got to fire once more before being downed.

  • You learn as you go along 5th repost. Thanks to the admin who helped me sort the mess I made. I'm going to try to find out what exactly caused it (I think I know) and report the issue soon.
