Eye of the World!
I’m about halfway through the first entry in Wheel of Time.
So far it’s been pretty solid - I just got to

The part when Rand and Mat make it to Four Kings.
It’s been rather slow in explaining lore and the magic system, but it’s at least been interesting. Reading the chase scenes and when Mat and Rand leave Whitebridge had me stressed out.

RIP Thom? I’m pretty sure but I’m very wary. That merchant, Fain, came back after being presumed dead.
Bedlam Bride Spoilers
Raul started to grunt. “Yeah. That’s right. Look at you all dead and shit. That’s right you fuzzy little seals.”
Highly recommend sneaking in Warbreaker before you finish Words of Radiance if possible.
Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson.
The main character’s reflection on his past and continuation of growth really resonates with me.
Cool. I edited the title slightly since it’s stickied. Haha.

Thanks Frosty :) ☃️
BRG wins again :P
Thank you bottom right gang :D
So far in the book I’m at Baerlon, and I made it until Shadar Logoth in the TV show.
Only change I liked was having Perrin have trauma from the Winternight after accidentally killing his wife. But it makes more sense that he would be an unmarried boy like Mat and Rand.
I dropped the tv show pretty early on, so it definitely wasn’t a good TV show either.
Not a good adaptation or good show. I can see why Amazon cancelled it.
Oh boy, a whole 500 dollar bonus to anyone who would uproot their whole life? What a tool.
I’ve got a few SpongeBob X Stormlight memes saved from the last time I dare venture onto TikTok right after finish WaT. I’ll post them to try and bring life to the community.
I’ll join you there on Lemmy.world instance. Not sure if anyone is even active here. My supply of Cosmere Memes have dried up since W&T dropped.
Shitposts on Lemmy are basically just post whatever you want.
Sometimes it’s beans, sometimes it’s moth, sometimes it’s highly specific nostalgia. Also a lot of trans rights stuff (happy pride, btw).
Oh I’ll for sure check it out after I finish. I have heard that this series is already pretty straightforward in a classical good vs evil - which is fine by me. But I don’t want any major spoilers.
Don’t feel bad. I never bothered to climb past pokeball 3
Darktina being the core to another meta team? I’m shocked hahaha.
This looks like a cute movie, but very generic.
My 8 year old wants to see it but we are just waiting for streaming.
It jsut seems like a pretty rehashed concept from the trailers.
I agree. Official communication like this is incredibly unprofessional. Not to mention the guy’s an S grade scumbag.
Typos don’t discriminate and I’m not sure he’s legally allowed to edit these “official communications.”

Edit: I’m reading Chapter 1 of Eye of the World now. Thanks!

> Found a neat little program that lets you play Pokemon TCG against another human OR test decks against yourself. > > Pretty cool. I'm learning to play the game against myself with decks I've tested out. It seems to work with all sets too, I think? So far I've just tested it with some base decks.

#BRG
This was full odds btw, not Sneak Peak.

I’ve been having terrible luck lately, so this makes up for it a bit I think.

I’d provide proof that I used the BRG method, but alas in my hype, I forgot to.
