Hosting an instance of Lemmy
  • Thank you so much for your time, I didn't expect an answer so thorough, it is incredibly appreciated!

    I saw a Beehaw post about their costs for hosting and it was close to what you are saying.

    My last question was about if a server for an instance has to store every other instances on Lemmy, but I think it just has to get/send information to the other instances. Still learning!

    Hosting an instance of Lemmy

    Do any of you know if there are ressources out there explaining how to host an instance of Lemmy? I'm curious about the servers, bandwidth and storage required. Also, does every instance hosts every other instance in it too? Thank you for any help!
