I laughed at the silly black and white photos like a lunatic. Then I read it and processed it and laughed again, but now with understanding brought via meme analysis.
I made a lunch of tofu, rice, and beans while listening to a leftist podcast.
I used to bike up to 4 hours a day like some sort of Boomer parable because the buses sucked that much for certain routes and Uber wasn't a thing. Crazy to think of the reputation biking has with the reactionary crowds.
I'm a bit hopeful, but more in the sense of forming dual-power in the face of eventual balkanization. It's why I'm a bit softer on anarchists. I don't necessarily believe in a communistic revolution in the United States, but that this shithole can fall apart well enough for the global South to gain a sigh of relief. And in those ruins we may see a better world many smaller communist and pan-Indigenous movements that warm my heart enough to strive for a better world.
I got good dancin' feet but in every other instance this is 100% me.

Fuck, I sacrifice a lot for communism.
If spiders are being counted, Portia Fimbrata and the Diving Bell Spider. If they're not being counted, Cicadas and Moths. Not picky on my moths, even if I did raise some Polythemus in the past.
Not shocking behavior from cops, to say the least.
I believe Alexkansas coveree this subject.
Much appreciated. And I will join, albeit eventually. Hexbear's navigation truthfully confounds me.
Getting flashbacks to watching CNN in a hospital bed as they talked about how they shouldn't give too much in covid stimulus money.
I'm an okayish seamster, but damn does that activity take the backburner given how I always got them bills to pay. I shall live vicariously through your rainbow stuff.
Moneo was the coolest straightedge guy in the multiverse.
Honestly, even looking past my bad experiences, more of a cat person anyway. It also helps that I'm allergic to dogs, which is generally a more socially acceptable excuse.
My cat is currently annoying me with the song of his people, but I love him. Outdoor cats suck, but otherwise I love them. Dogs, on the other hand? Fuck them. I used to be a pedestrian and distance runner and owner's are too fucking stupid to put their dogs on a leash.
Not super constructive to the convo, but the Cuphead Boardgame has a phone app timer that plays the jazz increasingly fast. If you don't have the worst anxiety it's kind of fun in thrilling sort of way.
As someone who just uses Spanish for memes, I can sorta relate.
I got Savage Worlds to play the Powdermage setting, but I got too many hobbies to start even a 1-off. Still, it looks snacky and fun.
I like banjo, spiders, and a future with a planet isn't on fire and the working folks can actually live fulfilling lives.
