  • Near future sci-fi. With Swedish teenagers investigating cover ups, as one does.

  • As a fellow ESL speaker, I sympathize. Have you thought of The Expanse RPG? She could play a belter.

  • That is perfectly possible, but it's another friction point on my way to enjoyment, you know? These oracles are supposed to spark your imagination, not give you homework. I'm not saying it's a bad product, it looks like it's good for fantasy and adjacents, it just doesn't suit my needs.

  • Is it only fantasy themed?

  • É um jogo colaborativo, precisa de gente pra colaborar. Não é difícil de aprender não, basta ter imaginação que o resto o grupo resolve.

  • Eu gosto de RPG do jeito que eu gosto de café: frio, escuro e amargo.

  • Quantum is Setellagama's ultra lightweight 2d6 engine. They've got a few genre titles. It's their Cepheus Light stripped to its bare essentials, to the point that it doesn't make sense to call it Cepheus anymore.

  • The higher tier is $34 for a lot of books, including all of the lower tier. Still a bargain.

  • Nice! Thank you, added.

  • Thanks! Added and alphabetized the list.

  • No, it's designed as a historic catalogue of notable past starships. It's a cool read. Just found out you can buy a restored/scanned copy off of DrivethruRPG.

  • There's also a heavily modified d20 RPG launched in 2006. I don't know much about it.

  • Nice! Another good source is the Terran Trade Authority books of yore. I'll see if I can find something.

  • By becoming willingly non informed. Mixed success so far. 🙁

  • Of course. What is sambal, just in case there's someone in the audience that doesn't know it?

  • I have no experience with this specific setting, but I've played SW quite a bit. I think it would be pretty straightforward to adapt it to FATE, and with a little extra effort but a better result to Cortex Prime.
