I gave Discovery half a season, I have the Orville 2 or 3 episodes and while it was funny it didn't really click for me. I just lost interest after a few episodes.
Edit: just finished episode 3. Now I remember why I didn't keep watching. I should have just read the plot breakdown and skipped the episode. It just left a bad taste in my mouth.
I sent the first news story about the signal chats to my parents ands in-laws in a big group that said "I had better never fucking hear another one of you dumbasses say a word about 'HeR eEeEeEmAiLs' ever again"
Not a single one replied, both parents have (according to my wife) started taking Facebook posts they've made in the past down, and my in-laws have not said a political word in over a week. It's been refreshing.
They clearly aren't ready to accept they may have been totally wrong all along, but it's nice to see they might be self-aware enough to recognize when they might be potentially maybe SOMETIMES be less than correct about specific things.
You need a microscope to see it, but i consider it a step up.
"if someone said anything negative about me, I would gladly murder dozens of people JUST to make them look bad, therefore this is perfectly believable!"
Honestly that just sounds like someone who just forgot to keep drinking while experiencing couch lock... When I'm smoking sativa strains like last night, I am perfectly okay the next day since I'm much more active, and therefore drink more liquids, than when smoking indica strains.
While I'm sure it happens, it's just not a thing for me or my wife and her friends I guess.
I know someone who loves to smoke, but every time she does, her hands start shaking noticeably, but not enough to need help with things. Except maybe pouring a drink.
Jesus would have been black bagged by the CIA a long time before his message spread too far, and the FBI would be investigating him for CommuSocialMarxism like McCarthy is still kicking.
And he definitely would be deported to South America.
Also also has the artist never seen a cross before? That horizontal piece is really low.
Is it considered normal to type out a normal question format when using search engines?
If I were looking for an answer instead of making a funny meme, I'd search "heat movie cast Angelina Jolie" if I didn't feel like putting any effort in.
Then again, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I've seen someone use their phone to search google "what is 87÷167?" instead of doing "87/167" or like... Opening the calculator....
People do things in different, sometimes weird ways.
Despite my own work in making knives and other blacksmithing things, where I LITERALLY have a magnet on my anvil so I can test for when the steel hits it's austenitic temp, I somehow managed to forget the iron will go non magnetic...
So yeah. Thanks for the reminder!
In my defense I haven't made any knives since moving a year ago...
However, this is aluminum I think? I'm not entirely sure how magnetism works with lenzs law and if there's a temperature it stops working...
Make everyone see all the flags and just TRY to go on about how un-American or non-patriotic or how "against America" the protests are.
When the riot police get sent in, make sure everyone sees the fascist lapdogs beating true Americans in an extremely obvious "these police hate real Americans, you could be next" message.
It's a small thing that I think most on the left don't seem to appreciate enough. You may not have any particularly strong feelings about a piece of cloth/plastic that's probably made in China. I know I don't.
But they do. The right LOVES using the flag at any and every opportunity, because it works on the people who vote for them.
You know it's funny, I actually tried two different multicolor pens, but there's a limited size for the pen to fit, and the colors are never quite what you want them to be.
I use pilot g2 pens with a 0.38 tip. The gel pens work best, as there's minimal to no bleeding on the page like markers, normal Bic style pens are too hard on the paper to actually mark anything, and pencils don't auto-feed.
I'm sure a multi-color pen is feasible, and I'm positive I could find the perfect one for a price. But this works for now, as long as I don't feel like adding more than 4 colors.
I like that handwritten look, but I'm also not dumb enough to use my own handwriting.
My anonymous letters are written with one of those vinyl plotter/cutter things, but it uses a pen attachment to write things instead of cut. It looks very nice when finished. And most importantly, as long as you wear gloves, you don't leave any evidence on the paper.
Note: you can also use it to draw things, but swapping out colors is tedious.
Gotta love all the people who seem to think if we keep doing exactly the same thing (non-violent protests that are out of people's way) and if we ask really really nicely that we will be allowed to go back to a less insane country.
Anyone who wants to sit down and ask ICE to not deport them to a concentration camp is welcome to do so I guess. I'd say "your funeral" but you'll never get a funeral. You'll be dumped in a mass grave or incinerated.
Now I'm thinking I should give it another try.
