  • I cut out a couple toxic people and unfortunately found out that several others were simply friends of convenience and enablers.

  • Yeah, I haven't associated with any of them in 10 years. The only time I even think about them is when topics like this show up. For all I know they're all dead

  • I'll do you one better, I was asked, on more than one occasion, what I WANTED TO Do and then was left out of those plans by the people who asked me. Also invited to things and then when I show up everyone pretends I wasn't invited, and told the text I was showing as proof was obviously sent by me to myself.

It has made me just assume that I will be excluded from things, regardless of whether I have been asked about it, or even invited to go.

  • I don't trust anyone with one foot in the grave to make long term decisions that benefit young people more than themselves any more than I trust a small child to make sound logical laws about bedtime.

  • That one I think is more "the people in charge figured they would all be dead before it became a problem"

I fully expect that if the cure for aging was discovered, billionaires would suddenly care a LOT more about climate change.

  • Cats give people toxoplasmosis which fucks up their brains.

Cats are at least partially responsible.

  • .... Again. Whether his EOs have the authority to do something HAS NOT MATTERED for the most part.

  • It's become very clear over the last 20 years that most people in charge all just assumed everything would continue to coast, the status quo would never change, and have absolutely no idea what to do when someone grabs the steering wheel and jerks it into the oncoming lanes.

  • Can't wait for the executive order reinstating this shit bag.

Please, do tell me that an executive order can't do that.

And do that for all the other executive orders that aren't in any way binding or legal yet the people who LITERALLY have the power to say NO are treating as perfectly acceptable.

  • I'm exactly like that.

Can't remember important things from a week ago, but I could tell you the plot of any random Farscape episode if I see 5 seconds of it.

Also it wasn't 20...years..... August 2000 oh.... Oh god.... If you'll excuse me I'm going to go curl up in a ball for a bit and have an existential crisis about a show I enjoyed as a teenager having the audacity to remind me of my age.

  • Even without all the extra bullshit surrounding the case, and even back when I was a high school republican douchebag who hadn't even voluntarily stayed home from church yet and still believed cops have our best interests in mind, I STILL would have said this sounds like complete bullshit and they planted evidence.

  • Yes.

They were out of sync with the rest of the galaxy for at least 3 months, as that's how long the Tok'ra have been trying to contact them. 10-12 hours per loop, being generous with the time frame, he got smashed in the face about 200 times.

  • Well yeah, child predators tend to support each other.

  • Not once in my enlistment, such as it was, did I question what was in the pants of fellow service members.

Nor did I question their capabilities when they were needed.

Because I'm not an insecure idiot with the maturity of a child.

  • I say this a bit louder than normal whenever I notice someone is zoning out. I think it's funny, we have a little chuckle, and move on.

I'm hoping someday to find someone who knows what it's from.

  • Legitimately my favorite episode.

Nobody can ever know teal'c's pain.

  • Son of a hazmot!

This frelling show is one of the best shows of all time. of all time.

  • Let's block the entire parade from proceeding.

    Tank Man style.

  • Awww you think they stopped to listen to the message in the first place....
