  • I honestly wonder when, if ever, we will get to the point that ICE is met with solid resistance that keeps pouring in and refuses to let them leave without shots being fired.

I wonder if we will get to the point where ICE gets met with armed resistance.

I wonder if we will get to the point where regular citizens see an ICE raid, call up their local militia, and take up arms to protect our fellow citizens from kidnapping, torture, and death.

I wonder how long, if ever, before Canada opens itself to refugees fleeing persecution in the US, and a new underground railroad is established to get POC and LGBTQ+ to the saner land up north..

This is where we are headed. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to go back and relearn their ww2 history.

  • NYS rangers

How did I miss that part? That's on me.

Yeah state parks, rangers, and anything that positively manages government land has always gotten the short end of the stick. The state police aren't as militarily kitted out as some local PDs, at least in my experience.

A state park near where I grew up was basically begging for volunteers because they didn't have the budget to take care of the park more than 3ft from the parking lot. (mild exaggeration, but you get the idea)

This whole time I've been thinking its some local city cops with too much time and not enough training...

  • I first saw one in my grandpa's shed 30 years ago. I've had my own sitting in my parents garage, held together by duct tape, since highschool.

It's crazy to me that someone slapped their name on it and parades it as original thought.

  • That's the point.

Set the bar low, but just high enough that tons of people still trip over it.

Sit back and enjoy the comment wars.

The people who are confident but wrong are too proud to admit they were wrong even if they realize it, and comment angrily.

The people who are right and know why, comment for corrections and some to show off how S-M-R-T they are.

The people who are wrong but willing to accept that just have their realization and probably don't think about it again. So do the people who don't know and/or care.

But those first two groups will keep the post going in both shares and comments, because "look at all these wrong people"

It's all designed to boost engagement.

  • You're not fooling anyone, Communist.

Congrats on winning the argument, anyone who gets told this. If their entire argument is "you're a commu-social-marxist" then they have no argument and they're delusionally living in the McCarthy age.

Who the fuck do you think you're talking to like this?

LMAO am I supposed to know who this guy is? Because this sounds like an "I'm so important you should have more respect and by respect I mean do what I say" but it could be a "you aren't fooling anyone" I suppose.

  • 200 XYZ employees are riding a metro line and 150 are in 3 busses, and they all decide to drive one day, OH look there are now up to 350 extra cars on the road today, all going to the same building.

Please tell me how it's XYZ employees themselves that create congestion and not the extra 350 cars, without saying something along the lines of "if they didn't all decide to drive that day" or "they should have done something else"

  • Like that photo from America with all the gas stations, McDonald’s and stuff.

That's half the towns I drive through, usually right off a highway.

    It's gross.

  • Look at all those mostly/stopped cars I can breeze by on my bike...

    I can smell this picture.

  • Call your step-brother?

  • I'm sure their massively inflated budget can handle it. Presumably the hikers pay their taxes.

  • GIMP

    Jump
  • Had me in the first half, not gonna lie.

  • Taken to police..... For wasting their time? I'm confused what actual harm they did.

Oh no they ate a fungus. Hardened criminals. Probably ms13. Gotta deport them now.

  • My condolences to your digestive tract...

  • In that case I would probably read the letter before I try and make a judgement, if it's something emotionally charged then sure I get it.

If it's lorem ipsum, I genuinely don't understand how it's art but you do you, artist. I've had people try to explain their art to me and I still didn't get it.

It really is something that's subjective.

Also something I don't get: painting something and then covering it with layers and layers of single color paint. I am willing to accept others find it thought provoking, I find it a waste and honestly want to fingerpaint a little stick figure on the blank space. Surely that would add to the art? (again, I don't understand it)

  • doesn't work out

Hot damn, what an absolute piece of shit garbage human being.

  • The Game (which you just lost)

goddamn it I just lost the game...

  • DO NOT start chainsaw between legs

  • I really don’t need that big of a Dutch oven though

The appropriate number of cast iron cookware is n=n+1. And coupled with the ability to cook for more people at once, the more the merrier! Especially if you garden your own potatoes. I swear cast iron and potatoes were meant for each other.

Make sure to tell your wife some random stranger on the internet said "she's right" , it does make a good story.
