  • But that is just for retro games so of course jts a lot cheaper steamdeck you can play retro and AAA games

  • Ahh its cloud gaming then, like steam link. It works the same.

  • But still this scraps on that topic is a bulky ps4/5/xbox PORTABLE for you? Steamddck can stream onto bigger displays too or evem remote play things that are to high gpu intensive onto your main pc.

A tablet cant play games ( except mobile games ) on its own.

It has a nice case for transport and the controlls are the best on the market ( even upgradable / easy to repair ) i would love a "just the controller" part of the steamdeck.

And if you need a tablet + controller + the console itself. THIS is NOT portable in any way or form as you just need a literal backpack full of periphials including power cord to power it 24/7.

  • They are appeased i still have a switch only because there wasmt a steamdeck before

  • It is more portable than a ps4/5 as some people will say that.

But steamdeck is right now the most "portable" modern device with the best price / performance value. it cant be carried like a ds in your pocket thats for sure but with a nice package it is pretty good to handle.

  • and now the steamdeck replaced all of them.

  • Then you havent had a chainsaw, you just simply run with an active chainsaw.

  • They work better than some posts from lemmy <-> lemmy, i get quicker responses and federation with mastodon than with lemmy. The only annoying thing is to start a conversation i and the responder need to ping us both.

  • Both are already redeemed lol.

  • I would prefer if its deleted by creator or mod/admin it should be deleted as soon as possible. To reduce bad/harmful usage of that feature. But i cant stop you do otherwise ;D

  • There is no implementation for alt text yet on lemmy, how would it handle post purges? / removals?

  • Sadly then admins and mods will not use it until it has those features as otherwise it would be pain in the *ss to use it and swap around.

  • it should have good moderation implementation and have its markdown synced with lemmy ( like spoilers etc. ).

It should be easy to block, report.

I like the idea of the offline support. Could be cool if you are able to "download" a post for offline reading or just reading through its comments. <= could be linked with the "favorite" functionality of lemmy.

Thanks for adding another app to the diversity of lemmy.

  • "portable" aka microsofts wet dream, everything requires internet and thus useless outside. Be better, be like steamdeck. But then why not just getting a steamdeck.

  • Sadly this is if it seen that way. Most of the time like g2a the keys are from stolen credit cards, stolen bank details and stolen steam accounts. Thats the reason they are so cheap. Still you support LESS the devs by purchasing it like that. Even if in best case they struck the best deal or cheated the keys during summer sales. It would benefit the dev less than someone buying it ( especially if its already cheap )

  • Its a great game!

Would recommend to support the indie devs directly and not through third party shops.

    14€ so not a 90€ "AAAAAAAAAAAAA"HHHHH game.

  • I guess there could be just a script before deployment.

  • Comments should be removed before shipping.

  • Hi,

    simple answer: Federation.

Federation takes time and if another instance didnt recieved the deletion users can still reply, vote and report it.

  • Hi,

on Fedihosting / LW we focus on stability and we target a version that has at least 2 versions released before we upgrade. We do this to catch all the bugs that gets noticed and patched.

We will discuss this with the team if we see any upgrades possible to pinpoint, but this will take some time as we have some custom patches for some of our cases.

    Thanks
