95% of high schoolers are underage. Setting a story there thus "hints" that the characters involved are underage unless otherwise stated.

Neither of these seem to be against the Lemmy NSFW instance rules on the homepage..

Obviously laws around anything differ from country to country, but while fictional depiction of stuff like that is not illegal, promotion of real-life animal abuse definitely is. Hopefully I've clarified the issue.

We are working to find a solution everyone can agree on, where we dont have to ban things like hentai with small breasts, etc. while still hitting the root problem. In the meantime we're using our discretion to remove posts that look underage

i dont see the problem as long as it's explicit that it's 18+, but if you had to make this post, surely you can sort of see how it might hint to underage.

Hmm ill probably have mroe questions but for now im curious:

• how much space was the download(s)?
• how confusing is the software to use?
• what kind of limitations does the software have? can i do multiple people? monsters? futa? etc.

I can understand this, but im looking at this post from my instance (lemmyNSFW) and it has 16 score and 89 comments. But on lemmy.ml this same post has 1.28k score and 662 comments.

Why is that so different? If they are like different email programs, shouldnt the email chains be the same no matter which program you use?

My problem so far hasn't been posting gifs, but instead seeing them. Maybe my settings are off but all the post icons are VERY small before i clock on them, and gifs require me to click the dots and go fullscreen or they just play in the tiny preview window.

Are these softwares all free to download/use? Also, how does one start doing this? do i just need the WebUi or do i need extra files to feed into it and stuff?

Agreed. Working on armpit porn atm but will try to contribute where i can. I have a feeling the massive influx in the next couple days will fill all these porn communities out. It's sort of a "if you build it, they will come" situation.. in more ways than one lol

those guys are barely holding servers together atm, it will get worse over the next two days (and maybe longer) before it gets better, but i'm sure theyll get to it eventually. So for now I think we have to make do and just say that this instance is non-gore only, since we cant filter it out.

This is also a good point. While i like the idea of having the title of this instance make sense (meaning having anything NSFW including gore) I also reckon you have a point in that we have no way of blocking gore by default. But maybe thats where more instances come in? like an instance called LemmyPorn or whatnot? I'm not sure.. its like the wild west out here!

Oh now i understand. Thanks for the explanation. In this case yes, I think both should be allowed, so people can make separate communities for each. Both porn and gore are considered NSFW so they both fall under the banner of our instance :D

agree. NSFW is such a broad thing to be a community. Atm we need to build specified communities for different topics. Like there could be a porn community and a gore community separately. and then go from there to more specific things like an amateur porn community, or to hentai, or fight videos etc.

For now tho definitely need to just pick one or the other. I cant imagine a porn/gore community being super successful cos those are two WILDLY different moods for most ppl
