Are there any good casual/low-stress mobile games that aren't filled with microtransactions?
  • Gardenscapes is the original match 3 and build a mansion and is still my favorite. There are micro transactions to get additional power ups, but the fact that they are constantly updating with new seasonal events and you never run out of levels

  • More parents are taking on debt to pay for Disney vacations as prices soar
  • If you stay on disney property you don't have to deal with that stuff. Catch the disney shuttle from the airport, take public disney transportation the whole time you're there. Course you spend more for the resort

  • It's about 400-600 per person plane ticket to paris (from Philadelphia the nearest big airport to me) and $147 for a two day two park ticket to disneyland Paris ($75 per ticket) Florida the plane ticket is only 50-100 and thr park tickets for a 4 day pass to 4 parks is 398 per person ($99 a day). Honestly unless the resorts in Paris are cheaper I think they balance out about the same. Now, with all the other stuff you could do while in Europe that's another matter. Florida's got a lot of stuff to do around orlando/Tampa too though.

  • I have both and the top two are constantly at war in my body. ADHD screams we're bored, we should go out to a movie, grab a bite to eat, hang out at the mall, my Autism is like fuck no I wanna stay home under the covers and play Binding of Isaac.

When autism wins out ADHD is like, yeah but you suck at Binding of Isaac why don't you try something new and then I spend 2 hours scrolling my library trying to pick a new game instead of playing.

But if the ADHD wins out over the autism I'll go a place and get overstimulated and when I come back I'll either have a migraine, go into an autism nap for several hours, or just the burnt out and unable to focus for 2 days.

    Having both sucks

  • What kind of institutional gaslighting is this?
  • Yep just me doing extra work for no salary... well. I dunno. Company just implemented a new bonus structure based on the hours you record per project. I know it's just so they can see who's underperformed to fire, but I might get quarterly bonuses now for working longer hours.
