  • why not doctors and nurses too? Why stop there and why not include firefighters, government workers or teachers?

    Some places do this.

    Who compensates you

    In a round about way - everyone else. Though it's possible you just make less profit 5% of the time.

  • You know, people might agree with you if Tim Cook'd up this scheme to save people's livelihoods but he didn't, and we both know that.

    He is going to lay off the exact same number of people to make the number go up harder.

  • Fast Food does not have to be tied to a Corporation.

    We have a family owned fast food local joint around the corner. Drive through only.

    It pays a liveable wage, and you can still get a full great meal under $10. A young couple owns it, they are very nice.

    There's just no corporate parasite sucking out the profit.

  • Every single generation gets accused of creating the worst children ever, and they were just so much better back in the day. It's quite literally a tale as old as time.

    The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.

  • Ah yes the alcoholic parent. We pioneered this one ourselves. Quite the accomplishment. Having never seen our parents slam down Natty Ice each day after work, we had no idea what we were getting into.

    Never before in history, had anyone ever chosen to have a drinking problem, and kids simultaneously.
