I don't like how they used human feet emojis instead of paws :(
I can hear this song every time that film is mentioned. Classic
I've only read one book by Stephen King and it was The Institute. It was really great, I couldn't put it down.
At some point I'd like to try The Stand and 11/22/63 which I've heard are both excellent :)
It is kinda weird as a furry, having quite a few friends whose real names I don't know. Until we paypal each other.
My understanding is that any sound triggers the milking machine ;3 Either he tries to keep quiet once he can no longer take the overstimulation of being milked, or he just gives in
I just can't believe people don't recognise it as AI
I wasn't 100% sure about the voiceover, but it does have weird intonations at points.
If you look at some of the comments too, they come from AI channels in similar formats. It's all one big AI circlejerk

A video from this channel popped up on my feed the other day. The topic seemed interesting, but after about the 3rd or 4th point something felt off. He constantly uses similes to draw very odd comparisons. The phrase 'it's like' comes up very often. This is exactly how I've seen LLMs talk.
Is it just me, or am I right about this? No one in the youtube comments seems to have mentioned it.
Nice work! Would be fun to recreate these or something similar :3
I'm don't think I have enough nanomachines to understand this
He's just talking about getting his boyfriend pregante
I can't help but think of the VA from Danganronpa who recorded some lines about barking
Super cute :3 Great job!
Yup Ash is right. You can be against an army bombing children's hospitals and food trucks without being antisemitic
haha that's pretty great to be fair!
Oh my bad, I hadn't heard of Short Trip and my brain must've got that mixed up xD
I saw the trailers for Squirrel with a Gun, and personally I thought it looked a bit gimmicky. Perhaps the sort of game I'd tire of after a few hours.
So you're wanting to eliminate as many of these games as possible from your wishlist? The only ones I've played here are A Short Hike and Animal Well, and I can vouch for both of those being incredible.
A Short Hike is very charming. I had such a fun time playing through it one afternoon and finding all the little secrets. It has a lovely artstyle and is the perfect length.
Animal Well is simply a great metroidvania with some really unique items and beautiful pixel art. There's some tricky platforming there if you want to get the collectables.
Sorry if that doesn't really help with your conundrum, but if you want to cut down your wishlist I'd recommend keeping those ones!
Why have the last two boosters had 69 cards to collect? ๐ค

I've had a Gaggia Classic for a few years and over the last few months I've been having issues with the flow from the group head.
I think it might be an issue with the solenoid valve. There was some guidance I saw online about flicking rapidly from the group head to the steam wand, as this forces water through and clears any blockages. And yes this does seem to work - if I rapidly flick the switches the water suddenly flows a lot faster from the group head. But it's not a permanent fix.
I've descaled it several times. Is there something else I can do, or does the valve need replacing?

Do dogs sometimes recall a time a few years back where they failed to catch a frisbee?
Often people will ask me to share my Amazon wishlist for birthdays/christmas. It's pretty convenient for them, and it'll mean I'm getting something I'm genuinely after.
However I'm trying to avoid Amazon going forward. Are there any websites you'd recommend that allow you to share a wishlist which collates links from other sites?
Gift vouchers can be nice presents, but if you think about it, you're paying for the opportunity to lock in your money forcing the recipient to shop at that particular company. And more often than not, the recipient will then spent a little more than the value of the voucher in order to use it all. If you'd given them money instead, the outcome would have been the same, but this way the company gets your cash in advance. I have to hand it to whoever came up with the idea, it's a capitalist's wet dream!
And pre-orders (I'm specifically thinking of videogames here), this did make sense once upon a time when you were buying a physical copy that may have had limited stocks. But nowadays for digital pre-orders... what's the point? You're putting your trust in the company that the game will be polished from the start. At least with something like a Kickstarter, you're helping to fund development of the game. But here what exactly do you get out of it? Maybe some additional pre-order cosmetics that'll you use once? The concept is bizarre to me.

Initially I was thinking 'ah this is a bit pretentious', but I soon found it quite charming, and the production quality/shot compositions really impressed me!

So I wanted a copy of the board game Carcassonne as it's a game I've played with friends before and loved. For things like this I (like many others) would gravitate towards Amazon.
But after some research I found that my local board game cafe sells copies of the game cheaper than anywhere online. Yesterday I popped by, grabbed a copy and had a nice chat with the owner about the game and their favourite expansions. This was a significantly better experience than buying the game online from a soulless corporation, and my money has gone to an great local company rather than a billionaire. Why did we give up the joy of shopping locally and in-person for convenience?
Similarly I was looking out for a black denim jacket in my size. Instead of going to a big clothing retailer I checked out some charity shops, and I found exactly what I wanted for a fraction of the price with the money going towards charity.
Going forward I'm going to avoid Amazon and any big American companies wherever possible. Hopefully others will do the same :)

Opening up a can of tuna yesterday I was wondering 'where has the rest of this tuna ended up? How long will it be before the whole fish is eaten, and how much will be wasted'?
@natebluehooves@pawb.social @crashdoom@pawb.social
So this partially seems to be an issue with anything from 'files.catbox.moe' such as this post https://pawb.social/post/20002623
I'm just getting a broken jpg image. Same deal in browser and using the Voyager app, so I can only assume it's something on the Pawb side.
And just today I noticed a similar issue with anything coming from lemmy.sdf.org. This could be either posts hosted on that site, or posts by users from the site. This community for example the recent posted images aren't loading: https://pawb.social/c/funhole@lemmy.sdf.org
Unsure if it's just me!
Edit: appears to be ok now!
