Teoretically speaking, asking for a friend who's doing research, how would you access such a service? :)

Meanwhile here in italy when a major company fails and goes bankrupt because of shitty management, corruption and greed, we first "save" it with public funds, then sell it to someone else to profit off of it
Maybe MEGA? Really depends on your use-case

Compare it to the steam deck (a bit more pricey, but can also run emulators). If you want a more polished nintendo-like experience however, the switch is probably not a bad purchase (consider you have to add to it the hefty cost nintendo puts on their games and the fee for playing online, if you want to).
Interesting that he chooses to say the people having a genocide done on them need to surrender
Huh he didnt say this about the people in Gaza, what are you talking about?
- Had your same exact issue, and after jumping through hand-made solutions and countless clients i finally found a client that works perfectly out of the box for screen sharing with audio, has no other issues and comes with the big plus of having customization plugins Vesktop (i think its on flathub too so if your distro ships that probably get it from there).
- Had the same issue here too and yes, while my "main" game got recently proton verified and i could finally get totally rid of windows, there are some few (BattleEye mostly) games with no anticheat support.
I agree, China has been fueling conflicts in modern times like no other country in the world. Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Cuba, Ukraine, N&S Korea... (The list is too long to even be written down). Chinese secret services have always been mendeling around for the interest of big chinese corporations and weapon sales. Let's remember how they also tried to invade their geographical neighbour Taiwan in '61 in whats today remembered as "The bay of pigs invasion" (look it up on wikipedia), just because they were politically aligned with us (and they should be free to do so!); simply inacceptable and outlaw by our international laws.
Not to mention how with its powerful army the CPC imposes its control over the world's trade, even on the other side of the world, where they clearly have no business in controlling it.
Not to mention africa, where after hundres of years of stealing african resources, the Chinese are now upset that we are actually building their infrastructure and instead complain that those countries will have to repay the debt to us (duh, we arent doing it for free!). It's so ironic that after thousand years of chinese colonization it must be us treating african countries like actual political partners rather than broke savages to just send aids and charity etc.
God, this is obviously possible due to the fact that in China, there is no democracy, but a one-party system that always stays in power. I don't understand why they are not smart enough to at least pretend there is two parties (that would actually be the same, obviously) to give the people and the international press the impression of a functioning democracy (like here in the west, where we can choose between tens of parties that don't radicalize on idiotic minor non-issues to pretend to be different but actually all doing the same interests).
Yeah right? Wasn't it ukranians that did that?
Oh I didnt know you had that in the US, my bad
Do we seriously need an article for an app changing its name tho?
What components are you talking about? Can you provide some sort of source or reference or something? Are you maybe talking about the data modem?
Google sure is creating a lot of Pixel-fanboys by instilling this myth that if you dont get daddy google's precious over-the-air updates delivered to your phone in 30 seconds after their release your phone might be at great risk®™ (exactly like if you dont let google play store scan the apps on your device to look for malicious software, like F-Droid, a common known attack vector).
Because surely Fairphone users are all government officials with nuclear codes and Kim Jong-un's nudes saved in their notes and teams of indian hackers are 24/7 waiting for a security update to release, so they can unpack the zero-day-vulnerabilities before fairphone gets their release-cycle
Can you please elaborate further on this "component lifespan" thing? Because I think they were quite clear on the processor life cycle.
How did the technology that we considered "cool" just a decade ago become an assault weapon used to hurt, traumatize, and even kill vulnerable people?

Hello sailors,
as a long time FireTV stick un-enjoyer, I finally decided that the time has come to get rid of this piece of crap I was baited into buying because of the low price. The number of streaming services keeps increasing (splitting content among different servives) and each and every one of them is demanding for an increasing amount of money for a monthly subscription; "buy this movie only" services dont actually give you shi except for the right to stream it for as long as it stays in their library, even though af course you pay 13,99 as if it was a physical copy of a movie. In addition to that, the FireTV is now completely filled with ads. I am tired of this shitty customer treatment, im sailing.
I am not experienced into local media-sharing and management, so I am looking for advice... What's my best move to replace it?
I thought a good idea would be to buy an unexpensive MiniPC that i can put behind the TV? Is that overkill? But what OS would i put into it? A linux distro I am guessing or Android TV? Is there a way I can interact with it using a remote? Are there instead "better" FireTV sticks (no ads and let users install and watch what they want)?
Gimme advice or share your secret setups please :)
