By being a yuge genius, the best at business.
And it was a good plan, for a while. Shame about that plague, though.
I started watching Wing when a friend brought the VHS tapes to work. Tried to finish it on Toonami but they kept shifting the schedule around. Didn't get to finish it until the DVD run was over.
The pharma-go-round is torture, even with a good doctor. With a doctor that doesn't listen, it's unbearable. Which means finding a new doctor and starting again. It's a vicious cycle. Glad you landed on something that works.
Frank Rizzo would be proud.

Can't believe this was 25 years ago.
Crummy pic. Hand painted over rattlecan primer. The doors no longer move because 20 year old me had no idea what he was doing and didn't sand before laying on layers of paint.
I still have this packed away somewhere. Maybe one day I'll dig the old stuff back out and see if I can get some decent photos.

Now that there's an easier way to share, have an early game fail from a couple of years ago. (If it works.)
Adulthood doubles the frames: add one with no bench, and one with someone putting a bench in front of the child. The conclusion doesn't change: it's the kid's fault for tripping over the bench. We just collectively ignore that the kid was fine until someone put a bench in the way.
So, all the uploaders deserve a ban?
I see you've met my entire family.

Plot twist: the toddler has a multi-year marketing push worth tens if not hundreds of millions, which convinced a lot of people who don't know the first thing about chess that it really is very impressive, and all those chess-types are just jealous.
The narrative, as I understand it, is that the dictatorship they fled is the left, so left bad, right good. Doesn't matter that the political "left" in the US is center-right.
It's brain-dead tribalism all the way down.
Feeling? In the dentist's chair?
WE FORGOT THE ANAESTHESIE!
And then hung. Also comically.
Anything to bring a smile during rough times.
I'm a simple man. I see gradients on a mech, I upvote.

I would love to have a cohesive, consistent lineup of gray/purple Amuro alt suits (G3, Zeta III, Hi Nu, maybe Unicorn because it would look rad). It's just not on my radar any time soon.

Posting this as I was prompted by a memory in !metal@lemmy.world . 08th Team is one of my favorite Gundam shows, and Nightwish is one of my favorite bands. I think the editing here is top notch.
Hard to believe this came out ~20 years ago. Rubyeye, if you're still out there, cheers.
Posted as text due to thumbnail spoilers for endgame.
Side note: Do Not Press R.

The RG is an old build, and the NG is positively prehistoric. It's amazing how far the engineering has come in the past... math... years... uhhhhhhhh...
MelodiousFunk.exe has stopped responding

On a related note, I have successfully gotten my nephew into Gundam... but his 14 year old Transformers-obsessed brain simply refuses to accept that Optimus would get urfed by even a GM beam spray pistol, let alone a newtype snipe.
