Schumer stamps out final Tuberville military holds, ending months-long standoff
  • You see, he was trying to ice the kicker by calling multiple, last minute, timeouts. But when you’re kicking from behind the goal posts you literally can’t miss. Unfortunately for Tommy Trumpetville he was a shit coach and is an even shittier politician, and as shortsighted as they come. He got into a pissing contest with the wind and lost.

  • I almost deleted my page trying to figure it out. But here’s what I’ve got for you.

Go to your page and write a comment. Then, from the desktop version, have another mod login and go to the 3 dots next to your comment. There they will see the option to remove you as a moderator

From Lemm.ee, on desktop, you have the option to leave the mod team. I don’t see the same option on Lemmy.world.

    Hope this helps

  • Fuck this asshole. Post their faces on every billboard in Times Square. Dox them all. Anyone associated with Jan 6 should all be shot out of a cannon into the Atlantic or Pacific ocean, whichever is cheaper. Imagine what would have been going on in this country had they succeeded. That’s what the punishment should be based on.

Apparently these people have never eaten pizza in NY, where we fold our slices. Can we all stop eating from chain pizzerias and order from your local spot?

Pro tip: pick up slice, fold it in half lengthwise and enjoy

TODAY IN ROCK AND ROLL HISTORY - 09/12/1955

Screamin' Jay Hawkins re-records his 1955 song, "I Put A Spell On You" for Columbia's Okeh Records. Hawkins would later admit that both he and the entire band were intoxicated during the session. Despite being banned from most radio stations for its outrageous style, the record nevertheless sells over a million copies and would be named one of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll. Amazingly, the song didn't crack Billboard's Pop or R&B charts.
