I have tried, I can't find a charity that will help me because this isn't something that is written in their agenda. Sadly there is no existing charity that helps ADHD/ autistic people with my problems. I have gone to doctors but they don't seem me to be disabled enough. I have also talked to friends who are actually on disability support in Australia and the support is so limited, there's really not much point in trying. There's a lot of hoops to jump through to qualify, and I'm better off using that energy to find work.
You don't know anything about my family situation. I can't ask money from them. Nor can I ask my friends for money because I'm not going to stoop that low. My friends have already tried to help me as much as they can. I've lost friends because I've been too much. Some came to help me when I didn't ask for it and because it was too much for them, they ghosted me. My friends are not mental health professionals or social workers. I can't put the burden of helping a disabled person like myself on them. But you know what mental health professionals and social workers have not been trained on how to deal with people like me either. So yea there has been no options for me.
If the system has worked for you and helped you when you were at your lowest that's great but it hasn't worked for me
Hospitality, cleaning jobs would be the easiest jobs to find . I've worked in these fields before and while I was able to do them back then, I don't have the capacity to work these jobs anymore. I'm too burnout.
