No choice or control where the focus and attention lands, it's one of those giant prize wheels, inside there. Pure random chaos.
Of course! They're super simple but they actually worked.
Standing at the sink, (or wherever) leg straight, lift leg backwards (keep straight). (Do a billion times, (I forget the number, 30 odd? I can look for the exact sheet I was given) but work up to a billion times slowly)
On floor, on all fours keep leg in bent position, but lift upwards (keeping knee at 90° angle) bend only at hip, till back and thigh are a straight line. Both legs. I forget how often, I'll look for the sheet, but it was a solid block of time, 10 minutes, go easy though, work within your comfort levels and work up to more.
Both those above 3x a day for a good month to 6 weeks.
This one I found super hard, walking backwards for at least 10 minutes a day. And it has to be vigorous, I was told walking around my coffee table wasn't enough. Be very careful. Do whatever you can that's safe.
I also just worked on strengthening my lower back and core, too, after I got to a place where the pain stopped and I had good muscle tone to support it.
The physio person also focused on my walking pattern, you might also be able to find some info on that online. I know tiktok isn't loved much but it is great for people sharing medical information similar to this, also. You could see what the algorithm there spits out.
Are the coffee grounds blowing up into the machine? If they aren't cleaned from there after each coffee is made, it can cause a bitter burnt taste, could be that?
Sounds like your sacroiliac joint is gone. I did mine in by moving house and having bad posture, specifically the deep curve in my lower spine. I went to a physio they taught me some exercises that strengthen specific muscles that support the joint, to take the weight of the joint, off the joint. Sacroiliac is the joint of the spine and hip bones. Does it kinda shoot through the centre of one butt cheek, and lower back and seems to hurt no matter what position you lay or sit or stand?
I tried to explain to someone that our (adhd) brains are literally incapable of forming habits. They tried to remind me of all my bad habits, therefore I was wrong. And that was just too much for me to unpack and explain to them (they didn't know me or my habits, they were just talking about the bad habits that come along with adhd, but thats a whole other story)
But when someone told me habits are something you do without thinking about it. Like, at all.
I've never had a habit in my life. I have to think through every step of every task, no matter how many times I've done them before, nothing just runs of its own volition. And I could have done something literally 10,000 times and I'll still miss a vital step and screw it up.
That fun effect is called, executive dysfunction. Yay!
Fool and his money.
Here's an angry explanation / view of it. I like to think of it more like coming to an understanding of why a person would behave that way, so as you can forget them. If you're angry, they don't feel that, it doesn't punish them, it only punishes you because you have to carry around that bitter feeling that taints everything. It can be seen as giving them power over you to think of them at all. Whereas if you can find an understanding, not letting them off the hook, or saying it's ok, but just that you get why those behaviours come out of people, sometimes. Then you can pity them and look down on them, for choosing that path, so really, it's just about flipping the power back into your hands.
After hearing from Robs daughter how she was treated and what he was / is like as a person, I can't like anything he did, and it all comes across narcissistic and creepy from that viewpoint. It's like a game of power but with a curse. (whatever that game is really called,)
He knows he's too rich to ever be convicted of anything. He just bought a president and a whole country of his own. He's drunk with power and thinks he's invincible.
You're taking the sentence way too literally, you need to chill a little, dude. They mean the ship she was due to travel on. It's longer to say it that way, so they say "her ship". Similarly, if you were going to fly on an airplane, people would say what time does your plane land? They don't think you own the plane. You had a misunderstanding.
Yeah, not only that, people who pirate wouldn't have consumed the product, if pirating weren't available as an option. They've priced cost of living so high, and reduced access to content availability. When Netflix first came out, especially the streaming version, I bet there was a noticible drop in piracy, now they've made content access to hard, more piracy. They control the levels of piracy. It's not a choice to pay for everything we want to watch, or pirate. It's pirate or don't watch. And they created that situation, and then try and brainwash / gaslight us into feeling guilty and feeling like it's our fault. And then add in the moral clause, these companies are committing or contributing to atrocities. Some piracy is an attempt to avoid supporting companies that cause harm to people. If "wrong" is condemned, what about the wrongs that have caused them to be listed on boycott lists. Underpaying employees and writers, who should own the content. I think writers should be as famous, and focused on as the actors. The content being created currently has a heaping of "conform, don't think" built in, too, I could rant about that, annoyingly, for a bit, too! So many things.
I think they're just setting up a defense for all the illegal activity, so when they investigate, they've got a get out of jail free, card. Not that he would go to jail with the amount of money he has.
This whole Gen vs Gen bullcrap is a bourgeois distraction attempt. Don't buy into any of it. There is no Gen vs Gen, it's bourgeois vs proletariat.
I'm having a really rough time, currently. Too many neurodivergent needs, not enough hands, BUT! I'm excited to turn around what seems like a super tricky situation, into a super fun place of joy.
Life is gunna throw stuff at you, you can't change that, and sometimes it's disproportionately heavy handed in throwing the stuff. But you can be super proud of how powerful you are when you make the most of your situation. Proud of how clever and inventive and unstoppable, you are. This seems like I've been backed into an impossible corner, but I'm excited to show my kids how anything is possible, you just gotta get creative. I'll find joy and I'll fill our home with it and I'll remind them how truly lucky we are. And then I will have handled this like the true boss I am. It seems impossible to get time to meet everyone's needs let alone make time for self care, but I will turn that around. I've done more with worse situations than this. I absolutely have got this.
I've also been gifted a really good quality bike! (thanks Dad!) That I'm super excited to ride and improve my health (just got a fun times diagnosis of fibromyalgia, after asking for the last 9 years why I'm in so much pain all the time) but now I know, I also know how to battle it!
I miss riding a bike, I loved riding my bike as a kid. I'm so looking forward to connecting with my child self, wind in my hair (well the wispy bits around the helmet, anyway, lol)
I bet Zelensky actually got some sense into trump at the funeral. It's been since that conversation he's flipped his usual script.
Yeah even the addresses were identical. Love the show. I get it, he acts like an asshole but it's usually for some super chess move. Plus those were different times, when it was written, it was OK to be an asshole for greater means. He risked his own life to save others, too.
I think he'd be written differently in this day and time, though, he'd be less asshole more stoic or something. Hugh Laurie is brilliant.
I didn't think about all the spiders that'd be in flood waters...
I'm so sad he rests on Sundays, cos sundick has such a great ring to it.
I want the artist to make tshirts and I can buy them. Is that a thing?
