I would say purposeful neglect and ignorance is worse than simply diverging interests. Also, the fact they flat out said they never had feelings for OP which is super effed up.(plus the cheating) Ex and friendgroup are genuinely bad people.
You can post in a lot of lemmy's that attract bad actors to your post. It's not instantly equals = bad. Seems very limited imo...
