[Clip] Is That a Real Gun? - Heavenly Delusion
  • I’m hoping they’re just waiting for more source material for season 2. Season 1 covers vol 1-6. Vol 11 was just released a few weeks ago so there’s probably not quite enough for another season yet.

It’s one of my favorites and very unique compared to a lot of the slop we get these days. I really hope there’s another season.

  • Microsoft officially recommends a new PC and OneDrive to update to Windows 11
  • Gaming in Linux on a windows VM isn’t viable for most systems. Most games run really well through proton with little to no effort. Some even run better on Linux than on windows. You just can’t play a lot of the most popular competitive online games because it flags their anti cheat.

  • MIT develops recyclable 3D-printed glass blocks for construction
  • The study also looked at casting the blocks. The cast ones were stronger but they noted some problems with their printing process.

They mention a lot of the usual upsides of 3d printing. It’s easy to iterate on a design, easy to modify to a particular need, and allows for geometry that’s impossible for other methods.

They snap together kinda like 2x1 legos.

  • US house prices dropped!....0.1%
  • Mortgage rates are down ~0.25% over the last month which is a bigger deal for most buyers. Mortgages and homes are still pretty expensive compared to a couple years ago but we might finally be at a turning point. The fact that everything isn’t getting worse is a good sign.

  • Glitter bombing
  • I love the list of events. It’s like

    Conservative assholes

    Rick Santorum

    Conservative assholes

    Rick Santorum again

    Conservative assholes

    Rick Santorum yet again

Dude got glitter bombed at least 5 times.

  • A nearly comical reminder that corporations aren't your friend.
  • They also agreed to a similar arbitration clause again when purchasing the park tickets. It is insane that the disney lawyers even mentioned disney+. They had a more recent and relevant agreement right there.

Either way, I hope they lose. Fuck disney and forced arbitration.

  • Yes
  • They referred to specific ideologies and economic and social policies before the modern corporate propaganda machine really started in the 80s. Pretty sure they’re meaningless to most Americans these days.

  • A massive bubble in the South is about to pop
  • By this same logic, someone in 2004-2005 could look back to the crash in the 80s and see they’re at the same level as that peak and a crash is imminent. In fact it was a year or two away and new homes for sale were going to go up another 50% before the crash.

That’s not to say that things looks good. Some sort of correction is probably coming but it could be another year or two or more.
