Poll: A historic number of Americans don't want a Biden-Trump rematch
  • Statistically, an incumbent has a huge advantage right out of the gate. Not to mention Biden could splinter the vote which is the worst scenario for a party that holds the seat. I don't like it either, but Bidens low drama, non-world-ending and still-not-trump platform is the dems safest bet.

  • I'll go even further and say people were mostly upset about the API because of its harm to 3rd party apps. Having 3rd party apps isn't even really the norm for websites, but reddit's app is awful. If they had a decent app, this probably never became a big deal in the first place.

  • It's not just about getting covered, although it definitely helps. Reddit is threatening to remove mods who leave subs private as they see it as abandonment. This way the sub is still basically closed but is technically still being moderated.
