I have had conversations with people based around the question of what efforts this man has done to actually unify the country and move us forward as a leading nation in the world. I am still awaiting an answer that doesn’t distill into “not a damned thing”.

The only real one I can think of that sorta fits that criteria is the federal animal cruelty law that he signed. Apart from that …? I’m not saying there aren’t, but danged if they flew under the radar. As much as self-fellates himself over perceived accomplishments, I assume there are few other examples.

Under normal circumstances this headline would not be considered clickbait.

He still “earned” 753x more than the median Target salary. Crushing, I am sure. How will he ever survive?

I too had a sensible chuckle. I do feel for the employees who just want to produce cars and innovate. Sure sucks being drowned by your own mother.

Goddamned right. Every fucking time we go to the doctor or something similar we make sure the services are covered in our plan and every time we end up with a bill between 600-1000 dollars that we have to waste time contesting because someone at some step used the wrong code or whatever. EVERY TIME.

In fact, and I am not even joking, I literally got billed today for an appointment for my son that was supposed to be a $20 copay, and now they are asking for $900. I work at a multi-billion dollar company and this is the sort of insurance nonsense I deal with. I don’t even blame my employer either. It should never fall on their shoulders to provide this service.

It’s the most absurd shit to have to deal with, and it’s so consistently and thoroughly broken that I simply cannot believe this has not sparked a revolution.
