Name That Song [Pop]
  • Give peace a chance, can't believe no one has got it yet.

  • Name That Song [Pop]
  • Literally got the song stuck in my head the second i saw this image.

  • Stay Mad, Tankies
  • I am a tankie and voting for Biden lmao. The Prolitariat must be protected till enough class conciousness is achieved for Socialism to succeed.

  • Thank mr skeletal

  • Untitled, Oil on Canvas
  • Thanks it was heavily inspired by Yuyoi Kasama's infinity nets. It took me quite a few attempts to achieve the effects you commented on. I rotated the canvas a bunch of times and tried to purposely avoid painting in a noticeable pattern. Love painting in this style.

  • The Daily Checkin for Tuesday June 18 - Just for Today, We are NOT Drinking!
  • Idk why this community hasn't been popping up in my feed lately, but I'm certainly glad it did. I freaking love sobriety so damn much. I feel like time moves slower and I'm not literally wasting my life away. Being mindful of the here and now is such a powerful state of being, i could never have achieved while i was still drinking.

  • The Daily Checkin for Tuesday June 18 - Just for Today, We are NOT Drinking!
  • The only brew I will be drinking is Coffee. Cheers to sobriety!

  • Why do used electrics drop so quickly in price?
  • Paid 40k for a used tesla in 2020 with 35k miles. (The EV was purchased new for 60k in 2018) The car is currently at 131k and going strong, dont even think about battery degradation being an issue worth addressing because there are new Chargers popping up all over the place. Plus the fact that EV roadtrips are much quicker and cheaper when you avoid long charges and charge just long enough to make it to the next charger. Love the fact that used EVs are getting so affordable, just wish folks would realize how much more realible an EV is compared to combustible engines. Plan on driving our car into the ground, even if the car only goes 100 miles on a full charge, that would be more than enough imo. So glad folks can get the same product as me for half the price and never visit a gas pump for the rest of their life.

  • Workers Create Value
  • Capitalism does not self regulate, it consolidates. You should try reading Marx and Lenin's actual writings, you seem very earnest and dont come off as a troll. There are multiple free audio recordings on YouTube of their works. Humanity must escape the all powerful driving forces of the profit motives Capitalism enforces or perish off the face of this earth. That process if it is to take place will appear extremely authoritarian to those who value profit above all else.

  • Workers Create Value
  • Investment Capital should not be a prerequisite for workers to own their means of production.

  • Workers Create Value
  • Yes it is, because authoritarianism isn't the end goal of ML. You readily acknowledge that we currently live under an authoritarian Capitalist system, can you tell me what the end goal of this system even is? I mean most workers are one missed paycheck away from homelessness. While vast sums of wealth are horded by the top 1% of society with the only end goal being more wealth being extracted from the working class, with no actual goal besides more profit and greater wealth. The end goal of Marxist-Leninism is a classes society where each person contributes what they can to society and receives back what they need to live a fulfilling life. They are extremely different.

  • Workers Create Value
  • Because very few workers possess class conciousness due to decades of capitalist propaganda.

  • Stumpy

If you haven't heard of stumy, he was a cherry tree from the tidal basin in Washington dc that refused to die. He was a hollow withered husk of a tree, but still refused to stop blooming every spring. Since he is now mulch and didnt get to finished blooming I thought that it was fitting as an artistic decision to leave my painting of him in an unfinished state.

    Monet Study

Still havent decided if I'm finished with this one or not, this is my third time doing a study on this painting, but almost certainly not the last. Still havent captured the brush strokes of his I love so much. Will probably do a couple of Japanese Bridge studies before going back to his rose arches.
