This is not a proper dichotomy as organic isn't about level of processing, it deals with farming conditions and species.

Also processing a spectrum. For example a smoothie and juice are both processed fruit but the smoothie has everything that the whole foods have in it while the juice is missing some of the nutrients, notably the fiber. If you then add refined sugar to that juice to make it more palatable that is further processing, and if you reduce that juice to a jelly that is further processing, with each of these processing stages you are making the food more calorically dense. Processing can also make a food easier to eat or improve the nutrition though, processing isn't inherently a good or bad thing but it very often is one of those.

Printing more money and using it for public works or giving it directly to the poor could be a valid form of wealth redistribution that doesn't require collecting taxes. Just Egg is only expensive because the company is interested in catering to a niche for those high margins. It is made from incredibly cheap ingredients like bean flour so it's annoying that it is so expensive.

Refined protein would not be something we would need to seek out if we did not consume so much refined fat and sugar. Also adding protein does not temper the negative effects of the calorie bombs we create, though adding fiber does. Maybe fiber should be the nutrient we add back into our processed foods, but we should also just be eating more things made from whole foods and not refined nutrients.

You make it sound as if the "left" in the US is as left as it should be and pushing it further is a bad thing. The "left" in the US are full on capitalism appreciators, even under the Obama admin which liberals look upon fondly large mergers and consolidation of power were allowed to happen. This country is lost if we act like one side is doing its job (doing things in the interest of the populace and not corporations).

I knew one person who lied so compulsively that it was almost certainly some kind of personality disorder. They would lie about the most mundane things and lie when it would be obvious to everyone they were lying. Not saying Elon doesn't have NPD, but narcissism gets thrown around a lot and it could very well be some other thing or multiple other things accentuated by him being in a position of fame and power. It's got to be made worse by having so many true believers parroting your lies and doing the gymnastics for you.
