I will link to a buffer from harbor freight, and I don't usually recommend tools from there if they are important or you require a certain quality, but this 6" buffer seems to be holding up well over the years. With this cheap buffer from h.f. I rescued a ton of dvd's for netflix. I would get them and they would be so scratched my player would have issues. So I would take the dvd out to the shop and give it a once over with the buffer. You have to pay attention to the direction the buffer is spinning and only polish/buff from the center out on the disc, only use a fine polishing compound at the start, and never let the dvd sit in one spot on the buffer or it will do some real damage to it. But I was very successful getting a lot of dvd's repaired back to a working state with this method. It takes time, and you have be patient, but you can buff them out pretty nicely. Might save the library some money.

Can we pick a random city, and throw two rocks? Whoever they hit, we wake them up, dust them off and let them know they are the new presidential candidates. I am confident we will have a much better selection than the current.
I'll take two bowls of split pleas.
My son picked up a refurbished Ipad mini that we were going to use as a screen for our quadcopters. Well, you can't load any software on it so it's just a worthless piece of shit. Way to go apple.
I just got an email about a new power supply board for the rpi5 - PD Power Extension Board for Raspberry Pi 5. It's on their pihut website and is $20. Has multiple input types.
Yup, people have proven time and time again that they are willing to give up privacy for something simple like convenience. So as tech progresses so will the deterioration of any privacy we may have left.
A camp for troubled youth on Lake Toxaway? This shit just writes itself huh.
Same. My unplayed list of games is what I plan on doing when I retire. When I can sit down and concentrate on something without someone pinging me on teams...
Well, I just bought a new motorcycle. Going to pick it up later and do some riding. That makes things worth living.
Here's the way I look at it. This is your life and you get to play it out as you please. It's really none of my business to begin with, and I am not really sure how this would come up in casual conversation, so I am hoping to most people it's just not even a topic. I have kids, I have friends that have kids, and even with that basic amount of knowledge we don't sit around chatting about things like that. Don't overthink this, and keep in mind that you make your own decisions. Just because you don't have kids doesn't mean anything either. I have friends with no kids, and gotta say, sometimes I am a little envious. Wouldn't change anything, but it's nothing to feel bad about. Lighten up on yourself and just do what you want to do.
Did some LLM put together minor and report and decide it was a minority report?
It doesn't have to be all profit, sometimes you do what you can to help the kneedy.
Sounds like you are pretty handy.
Thanks for sharing. That was wild... You probably have more tabs than I have bookmarks.
Interesting. I still don't think I could use that workflow. I use bookmarks, and the dropdowns in the bookmark toolbar when I need to organize links into groupings. And even then I only keep the necessary dropdowns in my list. Everything else I organize by bookmark folders and subfolders.
What? Even 500 tabs? I don't understand this. I get about 10 open and I can't read what they are. Please share a pic of what it has to look like with that many tabs open because I totally do not get this? I feel like this would be akin to asking "I can't see out of my car windshield because I have completely covered it with sticky notes. How can I get to where I need to go?" This is not how browsers were designed to work.
I don't know what buttons you can remap the focus to on that model camera. I just know that I have my 5D mapped to the back * button, and have been doing that back to my 10D days.
Same. I also have an old Backbox distro that I used daily for years and every once in a while fire it back up for shits and giggles.
It doesn't seem to make my fan go nuts. I have been playing it for a while on the deck and can't recall that issue.
GTA V. I mapped the top right to hold down the trigger for flying helicopters, or when I don't want to let off the gas in a car. Bottom right releases it. I use this when I am hauling stuff with the cargobob so I don't have to keep my hand on the trigger which can be painful after a while. I use them in Valheim to do things like repair when I am at a crafting table. I really like having them and how programmable they are.

This is a crazy good deal, and according to people on their discord, you can transfer the standard license to someone if you already have a licensed copy. You will also get the pdf copies from Paizo on their website.

The Round Rock Library is pretty amazing, and any Texas resident can get a card free and immediately check out books and media. There's no charge to get a card either, you just have to show up in person, which you were going to do anyway if you planned on checking out books.
A major highlight in my opinion is returning the books/movies and watching them run up the conveyor belt and get sorted... Guess I am just a big kid.
So I grepped out all of the nodes from the log files. Here's every node that participated. Just thought it makes a cool list.
