I really hope that's the case. Forums are the peak of communication through internet, social media and discord will be always be inferior means of communication.
But firefox containers isn't now redundant with the isolation of cookies? I know that it has other uses but that was the main use for a lot of people before Mozilla push that update into the browser.
I do not care about cookies + cookie autodelete are must have combo. I have been using them for so long that I do not know now how people uses internet without them.
It make sense. They were on par with Sony at the end of the PS3/XBOX360 era (I would say that Xbox360 dominated the first half where PS did on the second half), so they needed an strong start for the XBOX One/PS4 era, and all the drama about "always online", the anti-consumer focus of their PR, and the lack of games and exclusivities really hurt them.
I bought the day one FF15 edition alongside the film because I was really hyped, never again, when it was lunched in PC it has I don't know how many DLCs and updates that barely resembled the vanilla version. I will just wait until is released in PC to play it.
