    1. the store . easy question. They pay more for insurance, and maybe the store stocks more garbagey stuff so the loss isn't as much.
    2. people who chose to shop there. Another easy question.

These were hard for you somehow?

  • Are there rules about keeping all your crap within the confines of your vehicle (at night | on weekdays | during street sweeping) at all?

I find the sea of detritus present in these camps - seemingly right after the first resident shows up - is a huge factor in the public seeing them as risky and dangerous.

Every single media story on homeless campers is jammed with shot after lingering shot showing a carpet of junk covering everything; and while it's neat to set up some deck chairs in front of the Winnebago, I'd love to see some process or policy that keeps everyone's shit either bottled up in their hard tents periodically or moved toward the sorter and recycler.

It'd help promote the "campers are just people and not the rubbish of society" idea that we know in our brains but need to also feel in our hearts.

  • Typical behaviour from public-private partnership, so while I don't know whether air Canada or its ilk is tapped to maintain Justin's plane, it'd make sense -- just not today when "run to fail" seems to be the maintenance plan they use.

Air Canada, TransLink, BCFerries; same results (runtime failures because costly maintenance was cutting into CEO yacht money).

  • I want apps to be apps again.

On my desktop I have browser tabs for WhatsApp, messenger, Skype, gMailChatTalkHangouts and slack. I know slack's app was ass but I miss the rest.

I want a discrete app that doesn't crash with chrome and which sits in my tooltray so I don't have to fucking search for it whenever something makes a noise (ctrl-alt-a). I want to see it from the blink in the corner and not by scanning 31 windows of 7 groups of 12 tabs each.

Often times I just give up and hope it also makes my phone spork too so I can grab it there.

  • I think we're not talking company trucks (which should park in a depot anyway).

It's about personal garage-queen road-manatees. Because of course it is.

Just abolish and amnesty the Dodge ram. Given the inordinate DUI numbers, roads would just be safer.

  • We killed Apple and kept Amazon. There is no streaming but commercial-free streaming, so it now needs to compete with the higher price tag.

Soon it'll be Amazon or britbox, and it's not gonna survive that tribal council.
