Depends on the time frame. They will naturally shed it as treasuries reach maturity and just not buy more. But otherwise you would just sell them, it's like what the bond market is.

If it makes you feel better I read it as "a hundred little bags of fries" and have been thoroughly baffled until this comment chain. Because surely a hundred little paper fry sleeves with one or two fry in them is absurd and can warrant a ridiculous response.

I am not sure how useful owning the actual precious metals would be in a societal collapse. It's going to lose value quickly. It would take probably 5-10 years before some rich rober baron decides to make a market for it where it gets a decent trade value again. An Oz of gold is going to mean a lot less to me than box of bullets or some chickens, unless I can find someone to give me a ton of that stuff in trade before my family starves I am going to take the chickens.

Much more useful in a hyper inflation scenario.

Not that I agree with the specific numbers in this infographic (I have seen estimates between 20-40% remaining) but it illustrates my point. The right cube would be bigger, but not as big as the already mined cube on the left if you included all the gold estimates in total.

Think about this... if it were profitable most white collar workers would be riding a stationary bike with a generator, much more energy than a door opening.

A stationary bike over an 8 hour workday would produce probably ~1kWh, so like 19 cents given the US average. That wouldn't even pay for maintenance and replacement parts for the devices.

It really is or was when I first figured it out. If there is a sex scene that shows everything 9 times out of 10 they will talk about how nice the guys ass is. Funny enough the things guys focus on are typically at the end of the list dick, biceps, pecs. It makes sense if you think about it, a vagina isn't usually what guys focus on when they see a naked woman. Instead it's are you a butt or a boob guy? So for them it's more like are you a butt or an abs girl?

Don't make your dick the main focus of the shot, it's typically not even in a woman's top three favorite features of a man. Women like a lot of the same things we do, butts, thighs, abs tend to be top of the list.
