They would be exposing the hypocrites. They already look look like fucking morons for losing to trump, again, so not much to salvage there. Tell me any American could not miss the message when democrats stop the confirmation, roll out their own fake electors, and confirm kamala herself. Hell, have biden make it an official act because why not? Any person to object to it could not be totally lost on them this is exactly what Trump attempted to do and will not be punished for it.

Now, anyone knows this plan will fall flat. That's not how these things work. It would just stir the pot so brilliantly it might actually get the little brain cell they are guarding to light up.

If you were out here opposing the dems in this election I knew then everything I needed to know, which is, you're not very thoughtful and I don't care much about what you have to say.

The people it matters to won't be Republicans. It will be a signal to everyone one who has invested the last 8 years in them they won't go down without a fight.

You're not being the adult. The adult gets their hands dirty when it's time to get their hands dirty. Who watches the watchers? The answer isn't crime fighting vigilantes. It's other watchers.

Decorum. Rules. Norms. Can and will all be ignored. The Republicans will use every facet of their power and the democrats will pray to the gods of civility that the Republicans stop.

Good natured people, in my mind, are brilliant people. They do the hard thing because it's the right thing. The second they don't have to do the hard thing anymore because it's no longer the right thing is like removing a handicap. Think of the most clever, most hard working, and determined people you know. If they don't vote D I don't believe you know any.

And we all will land gently into a third world of our own making. The extremely rich, who are countryless/boarderless, will settle into their private islands as they use people to rack up "money points" and abuse underage childten.

I'm certain Ill be dead/dying in time to tell story's have how we use to have rights and how Rosa Parks sat at the front of a bus once and helped change a nation. I will instill ideas of democracy that my current countrymen seem to hate so much, now. Well it's a juxtaposition isn't it? On one hand you have the dems delaying the confirmation using the same tactics trump did. On the other you have him coming into power and having the justice department drop the charges.

It's not that I couldn't smell the rot before, it's that they had offered some sort of off ramp to the fucking insanity happening right now. For them to blow it now, they are officially a sunk cost. Watching people invest any effort their way for the next four years will be exhausting while each one of us need those same people to put their efforts elsewhere.

I think overall there is no pathway to seating kamala and it would just be a waste of time. At the same time, though, what a way to send a message. I think if the democrats understood how deep under water they were it would be the most beautiful death throw.
