Omg, I recently started playing an retired MMO on some emulated servers and this was totally the vibe. With no economy or large influx of new players all your old stuff just piles up and you keep it, hoping someone will someday show up who can use it. Things had value but not in the sense you could even start an economy. For me, I loved getting end game weapons, which are an absolute grind, then gifting them. I had a few but it was always more satisfying to give them away.

I was also told the most profound thing while playing. Someone said, "you're hogging yourself." Since I really like playing solo. I still haven't reconciled it. Like I don't want to hog myself but at the same time it doesn't seem like others want to play with me. I try to be inviting but I guess the only thing I don't really do is make myself vulnerable. Like truly vulnerable. I'm scared to though.

No, I mean real support. Yes, we will need people to analyze and strategize but that comes after we see movement. You can pre-empt some of the stuff and formulate some arguments, but that shouldn't be your opening line.

The thing we need now is people to call for one. I'm trying but I get so much push back its been difficult to not get discouraged.

If you want to show support, the thing that would help the most is another voice that keeps the idea of a strike in the discussion. Which discussion? All of them.

This is absolute bullshit. The DNC made zero effort to address the finical instability of working class people and you're perpetuating a lie. I was told 100x that the biden economy was a successful economy while inflation wreaked havoc. This was in 2021, 2022, 2023. Was it bidens fault? It's like the last election. We are all talking about 100 different things that all matter tangentially but couldn't focus on the one thing that would probably solve a lot of it.

Americans want financial independence. No one wants to tackle that issue head on, though. They will skirt around it saying, if we had this or that social program but won't ever commit to making it their platform.

Think if all the children being bullied that could be counseled if parents had time away from work to counsel them. Think of all the children getting pregnant that could be taught about safe sex and responsible relationships if parents had time away from work to parent them. Think of the long term health effects of being constantly stressed about work. Think of all the communities you could build if people had time away from work to build them.

Financial freedom = actual freedom. The GOP and DNC both want you to be wage slaves so that they can place themselves at the top of the hierarchy creating the problems you want them to fix.

I understand troubleshooting as someone who has worked as a project manager.

First, you have to have a project to start troubleshooting it.

The first problem is people looking for problems, instead of signing up or lending support. You are the real problem.

If you want to say, look at American history, I'd quickly defer you to the 90s. Whatever we might have once been we are no longer that. We are consumers educated by infomercials who only know reality TV and "influencers". Coke was the first plague, Springer the second. Followed by real world and road rules.
