Sure. When you have activists who want to insert themselves and their cause into every possible area of society then you will eventually get activists who focus on meaningless things.

Trans activists want to force every part of society to accept them unconditionally. So now you have trans activists focusing on the most pointless things, like beauty pageants.

Tim Apple is intentional. It's smart and effective. It communicates who he is talking about to people who have absolutely no clue who the CEO of Apple is. Simplified language like that is trump's specialty because it works with his base.
