Mattel is updating some of its most popular games to help the color blind
  • “…solutions, which include patterns, symbols and other clues to differentiate cards instead of only color.”

This is the way to do it. I’m glad to see more video games including color blindness modes but a lot of them do it in a way that I still can’t differentiate or match what I need to. Having symbols and patterns as well makes a huge difference for me. Everyone’s colorblindness is a little different, so there’s no color scheme to suit everyone. I hope other game makes take a cue from this move.

  • So you buy it, add on content for a game you already know does not have this option. Its well known at this point none of the other games in the souls / fromsoft series dont have this option. But you still buy it and leave a bad review for it? What? Why? Go buy something else

  • Look at these dumbasses buying a DLC for a game that’s legendary for difficulty and then complaining its difficult. Its like buying soda and complaining there’s too much sugar in it. Go buy something else! Not everything needs to be turned into this mundane fit for everyone bullshit.

  • 10/10 kids books.
  • You want some adult books that arent full of negative crap go read some Terry Pratchett. All my life these are some of the only ones that make me laugh out loud consistently while still having a great plot, characters, and just overall excellent writing in so many ways.

  • What games did you have a good time with that you just never finished?
  • Its been over a decade so I’m not entirely sure, but I think this might be the one: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/60534

I played around with Skyrim modding more so I may have confused some features with SkyUI. I could have sworn they were made by the same people but now that one is listed as developed by the SkyUI team, and looks like it got a lot more updates.

I think last I played NV I also used Project Nevada which gives a major overhaul of tons of aspects for the game. It’s got a whole lot more than you’re asking for but it was pretty rad.

Edit: Or it might have been the DarNified one. This sounds familiar: https://taleoftwowastelands.com/viewtopic.php@t=7284

Sorry for the uncertainty here, its really been awhile and I would have to reinstall all this stuff to know for sure whats what.

  • There’s a UI mod that makes a world of difference. Adds categories and columns for sorting, one of the categories is junk so you know what you can just trash without worries. Another is a weight/value ratio so its easier to drop heavy armor that looks sort of valuable but really isnt. It saves an incredible amount of time. Game still takes forever to beat if you wanna do all the quests.
