I’m not doing anything crazy. KerblimeySkal and I are running Mikes Natural Soaps challenge so I’m using Vetiver for the month. I’m also doing Raw Hoggin and have an Proraso Pro Omega ready to go. My razor and post shave will probably change day to day.

Man this Sunset splash has a dose of cooling I was not expecting. Feeling good about this base now and got a great shave with the Lite plate. Happy hump day

Think I've gotten a good handle of the Mutton base. I think in general Stirling just needs a lot more time to load and product in general to get the desired lather. Which is not a big deal because the pours are nice and big. Decided to work the Blackbird in rotation and had a very enjoyable experience with it today. I just need to remember it needs very light pressure. Decided on Moose again today because we're going to the county fair and the mutton funk will be an easy transition to farm smellz.

First go with the new sub exclusive soap. Some people think the mutton base smells a little weird, but I like it. I will certainly need more practice with the base and forget how much water Stirling can take. A few members of the sub mentioned that using Stirling splash with a damp face and hands is the proper way to apply. I did that today to experiment. Also experienced a lot of burning that I couldn't tell if it was from the high alcohol content or frag burn.

Glad you liked the soap. There are a few other Rive gauche dupes, but Ariana and Evan’s has a really good dupe, hold the fragrance burn. Unfortunately the perfume is out of production so you’d have to find it second hand to try it.

Been using this brush so much and it finally got that infamous crack that the inexpensive Omegas sometimes get. Still works fine.
