Lather: Stirling Soap Co. - Friends to the End - Soap
Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. - I, Rich Moose - Aftershave
My first go with Friends to the End! I bought this in the same order as I, Rich Moose because 1) dogs, and 2) @djundjila@sub.wetshaving.social really likes it. My opinion? I love it! A while ago InternalInfernal sent me a bunch of different pipe tobaccos and I discovered Perique. This soap has that rich, delicious perique aroma which I love. I have to look up the scent notes because I’m really curious what might give it that character.

This was a superlative shave. Stirling's sheep tallow base is excellent, and I pretty much always get a close shave with the MMOC. I'm tempted to use this razor for AA but have concerns about packing it on my bike for a couple of weeks. Seems like a three piece would work better for that, we'll see.

First go with the new sub exclusive soap. Some people think the mutton base smells a little weird, but I like it. I will certainly need more practice with the base and forget how much water Stirling can take. A few members of the sub mentioned that using Stirling splash with a damp face and hands is the proper way to apply. I did that today to experiment. Also experienced a lot of burning that I couldn't tell if it was from the high alcohol content or frag burn.

Cerb + Koké is a great combo and it was great to come back to it. The stone fruit, pear and rhubarb play really well together, as do the warm musks with the sandalwood. Whatever opoponax is may also be doing its thing.
