You should look at the LW annoucement thread about the defederation. They are not well moderated, and they certainly don't have friendly admins. Maybe defederation is the right call.

If you're feeling inspired I suggest making and posting some. I'll try and think of some new ones soon.

MrKaplan does not give a good reason nor is he expressing a desire to not associate. He is expressing a desire to silence others and control the narrative in favor of his Zionist agenda. To frame that as freedom of association is just as shameful as his actions and the actions of his Zionazi followers.

You're advocating we treat fascists with the same mutual respect we treat others because they are admins or pay money for a server. We should not afford these people such social comforts. Respect needs to be earned, and promoting fascism and trying to silence its opposition is the fastest way to lose it!

If the social fabric of the fediverse aims to protect fascists we can and should challenge that!

If bans are unjust they should be disregarded. The bite they have is the fact idiots comply and show respect to those handing them out.

It's real stupid that PD's admin bot keeps trying to remove my posts. They have no authority to do this in communities that aren't local so the removal never federates. It just makes them look stupid.

Being a liberal butthole gets you banned from places. Gee who knew.

I hope they do. The more they defederate, the more people will be willing to move to alternatives and finally leave them behind. People put up with Lemmy.world because of their size and how federated they are. When they defederate servers for being anti-Zionist they will lose their edge quickly.
