Thank you for the comment. I heavily resonate with the last part. I don't come to vegan communities online to be bombarded with non-vegans making the same terrible arguments, I have enough of that in real life. Leaving Lemmy seems like a more attractive option.
Hope you can give them to someone in need.
It should be abundantly clear that the comparison was with oat milk...
And contains more protein. Generally I'd say the best option, no clue why people are so hung up on oat specifically.
Kicking ducks must be your favorite hobby then!
Put me in for Elden Ring!
A game I've been playing recently is Bread & Fred. It has put the pure fun factor back in games for me. No competitiveness, no completionist motivation, just pure fun.
I had to look up dental dams, TIL.
Als er een positief ding uit de verkiezing is gekomen, is het wel dat deze Lemmy thread goed leeft en mij iets beter heeft laten voelen over de situatie. Bedankt allemaal!
I've been greatly enjoying leagues so far! My choices were Harvest - Fairy - Fire sale - Mage - Farmers - Berserker and last not yet unlocked, but I havent had any regrets yet. This feels like a sign that the options are decently well balanced this time around and that there are no wrong choices (walkers?).
My regions are Kandarin Desert Kourend and again here I feel like this was a fun choice. I do feel like Kandarin was nice for early exp, but might not be requires for late game damage as I first thought. Are there any mages that skipped Kandarin? And how are the other builds playing so far for rangers and melees?
Endless harvest, fairy, fire sale, magic. We're pretty much opposites! I will be afking during work, and since I'm not taking trickster the value of fire sale goes up tremendously.
What regions are you going for with melee?
Firearm injury 2nd: how to know this is US data without it being labeled as US data.
Similar position. I also realize how lucky I've been in life in comparison to the less fortunate.
Besides urging companies to stop this practice, stop eating fish.
OP unironically linked an article referring to a 50k donation in 2004 to a physics department to show that the Stanford Cyber Policy center somehow is not out for wellbeing of kids? Imagine being this delusional.
I use a 55 and it does have daily suggested workouts, although you can only see your current day. I vaguely heard that more expensive models are capable of showing workouts ahead of time. Nonetheless, very happy with my 55 - does everything a beginner runner could ask for imo.
Rereading the chain I see misread the original comments, my bad.
Lazy and self-aware enough to know that there is not much i can or will do to improve the morality of meat consumption.
You can stop eating meat? That seems to be a fix that puts you squarely into better moral territory. Unless you think the killing, torturous treatment and rape is moral. It's your choice whether you want to do something, but it I object to the word can here.
In general, just having conscience as a guiding ethical compass leaves you open to many logical inconsistencies. Would you agree?
I respect the self-reflection in this comment. Sadly, I also feel a small need to ask you to think about ethics and morality slightly deeper. Imagine if your predecessors made similar comments about [insert moral failing of history]. How would you think about that?
I think most of us try to be good people, but it's really hard to do the right thing if you never think about what is right and why (and yes, sometimes that includes not being lazy).
Although your general sentiment is right, even adult life expectancy has gone up dramatically. For instance, for 20 year olds' life expectancy was about 60 in 1850, but now is around 82.
Does anyone here have experience comparing the times of the Garmin race predictor for different events? I know that usually it slightly overestimates me or that I haven't been able to run the time yet, but I'm curious how the estimations compare for different distances.
Or otherwise in general, what are your thoughts on sports-watch/app generated predicted race times?
