How Do I use the Rogue's Uncanny Dodge Class Feat?
  • It doesn’t appear in the reactions list (oppo attack, sneak attack, and sneak attack (crit) are listed).

I put the passive ability on my hotbar. When it’s on my bar its tooltip says “togglable passive feature”. Activating it puts a circle around it, and it turns off after taking a hit it seems.

So I’m familiar with how it works in 5e and how to use it in 5e dnd, but I don’t understand when or how I use it in BG3.

Is there supposed to be a prompt when I take damage to use my reaction (like whether to use divine smite)? I haven’t seen anything like that yet, but maybe I’m misunderstanding how it works in BG3.

It appears as a passive ability in my character sheet.

Any insight (checks) would be appreciated.

  • Good.

Quality content is better to me than having a large quantity of content. I’d rather finish a game and think, “wow, that was solid” instead of “wow, when will this end”. Even if it’s endgame content; I don’t want it to feel like chores.

  • Request: Gesture Customisation

Installed and loving it already :) nice work!

I’m a lefty and it’s nice to be able to swap the gesture direction for upvotes and downvotes, etc. to the other side.

What do you love or hate about Safari?
  • I’m a Firefox user trying out Orion right now. I gotta say that I’m impressed. It looks and acts like Safari, which I like, but supports all the extensions I love.

  • What password manager do you use ?
  • 1password. I’m keeping a close eye on Apple’s own keychain stuff. It sure seems like they’re moving toward a password manager app of sorts. Once that happens, then I’ll probably jump ship from 1password as it’s getting expensive, and I don’t love 1password 8.

  • Apple Weather's forecasts are so bad my meteorologist made a post about it
  • For Canadians, I recommend Environment Canada’s WeatherCAN. It’s made by the department of Environment and Climate Change. It’s got some bugs here and there, but, most importantly to me, I find that it’s actually accurate.

  • BKF is so unbelievably satisfying to use.

  • What are some of the best purchases of your life?
  • $20 rice cooker back in 2020. It’s no longer made unfortunately. It makes rice perfectly every time. The best part is that I don’t have to worry about lining up the timing of other things I’m cooking. The rice cooker keeps the rice warm for 2 hours if necessary, so there’s plenty of wiggle room if I completely underestimate how long something else will take to prepare and cook.

  • Can I refuse a repair from AppleCare if they quote too much?
  • I don’t believe so. This may vary by country, though. I’ve brought and mailed mine in before. When they told me the price I just said no thank you and took my laptop back, no charge. Canada btw

  • Can I refuse a repair from AppleCare if they quote too much?
  • You can definitely refuse and ask for them to send it back to you if you don’t want them to do the repair.

  • I moved from Windows to macOS for work — and I never want to go back
  • I use Mac for productivity but windows for gaming. I love spotlight on macOS. I recently discovered PowerToys for Windows (made by Microsoft), which includes a little add on that provides spotlight-like function on windows. You can even assign your own keyboard command to it, so I have main assigned to WIN+Space, just like Mac.
