That is such a shitty move. Forcing subreddits to go back up is one thing, but as a european this feels very wrong from a data ownership standpoint and I'm not sure it's ok in the GDPR rules?

Yeah I've actually learned more about Bloodstained from crossovers (with Kingdom as well) than by looking into it :D
What I struggle with more with Bloodstained (and to a certain extent other games like Ender Lillies) is the JRPG/anime aesthetic but it's still high on my list just cause I love games where you get the abilities of your enemies like in Aria of Sorrow (and GRIME)
As a webdev I only consider alternatives that implement ActivityPub which is what drawn me to Lemmy. Other parties have come out with Reddit-like but a lot are still closed gardens under unknown people's control. I trust the W3C on this one.
