Reddit Admins seem to be pushing back. I honestly can't see anyone wanting to become a Mod at this point after spez's "landed gentry" statement. He literally implied that they are peasants with unpaid responsibilities. Why the fuck would anyone ever volunteer to want to do that again?

I built floating shelves in the kitchen where I stock all of my herbs and spices. I also bought like 50+ glass jars with labels so that all of my spices look consistent across the board. I then alphabetized everything, and placed the jars inside of a sideways, upright old wooden coke crate - turns out they are just barely bigger than the spice jars and the entire thing looks sooooo good....you get the rustic antique that's super functional. Nice thing is you can find like half a dozen of these carts at almost every single antique store you go to.

To organize while I'm cooking I have about a dozen stainless steel bowls and 1/4 pans that I use to prep and store ingredients. I can see everything, and get it prepped before the actual meal so I don't have to juggle prep and cooking at the same time.

One thing I wish I could improve would be to figure out a way to organize about 15 different sized prices of cookware in my cabinet below. I have to disassemble a damn enameled cookware tower just to get to the frying pan on top, and you can't stack the pan on top without it becoming a possible danger/hazard if the tower collapses.

Because your intentionally tampering with food which is felony. You get a 15 second laugh, and then the person you pranked can turn around and get you sent a prison for up to 15 years and $10,000 in fines.

Sure, they deserved it, but it ain't worth going to prison over.

Aside from his work as an educator, Bilkszto was an advocate. He was a member of the Toronto chapter of the Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism (FAIR), an advocacy organization dedicated to civil rights and anti-discrimination, which he took the lead in establishing. In education specifically, he was a member of SOS TDSB, an organization working to preserve the district’s merit-based admissions system for specialty programs (the TDSB recently began using a lottery system to admit students, to the ire of many).

“Richard Bilkszto was a great man,” read the statement of SOS TDSB. “He contributed so much to the fight for quality education, for fairness and a better school system, and we are all so much poorer for his loss. Our heart goes out to his family, friends, and the thousands of students and colleagues he knew, and loved, and who loved him in return.”

Wow. Just fucking wow. I really hope those administrators feel really proud of how much good they did. They were so inclusive in their equality training that they bullied a man to suicide. Fucking go them.

Some people just want to watch the world spez burn. It's human nature to want "your side" to win, and he's the face of "the enemy"... Not the reddit community, mind you...Reddit Corporate.

Well, asking a christofacist conservative to think logically and empathetically vs emotionally and personally is like asking a rock to talk to you. It will never happen.

The traits that make a diehard conservative are counterintuitive to thinking in a macroscale; I literally dont think they are capable of it.

When the government refuse to take action, the people will. You want to stop mob violence, you get police to handle matters better.

The women in your country are standing up for themselves because the men apparently won't.

The issue is that they're trying to get into the federverse, and draw it's users away. Larger silicon valley companies like this are notorious for buddying up to smaller companies and opportunities like Lemmy, kbin, and Mastodon and then slowly squeezing them out. They want our content and our users, and they'll kill the fediverse in the process.

Just watch. It'll start small with requested updates, how we handle content moderation, small requirements, the "we changed for you, you need to change a little for us" approach. And they'll start asking for other "small" updates here and there that start benefitting Threads more and more, and start choking off the fediverse until we become reliant on them.

100% agree. I'm one of the April Knights that team up every April Fool's for the events. They are 4000% doing this to boost numbers. Fuck them entirely. I refuse to participate.

That being said, we need to have our own April Fools event. I wonder if anyone would be interested in this? If there is enough of it, I'll see if I can take on a new coding project.

Are you seeing someone about it? One of my good friends started feeling that way for awhile, he never really spoke about it...I never would have realized it. I guess that there were a lot of feelings that he felt that others just wouldn't be able to relate to, so he never opened up about it. He wound up getting diagnosed as clinically depressed and he's MUCH better. Opened up a lot more. I think just being able to talk really helped.

That doesn't seem like a fun way to go through life. I'm sorry you're feeling that way.

Ah, a glass half empty man. I can relate sometimes I find when I'm like that, I find that the best thing I can do is peel away from reality and isolate a bit.....typically by stringing up a hammock somewhere and reading something new.

Its intense at harder difficulty and better weapons. The game shines at around Haz 4 & 5 missions.

I play with my wife, and it's over of the few games that has stuck around over the years.

But yeah, I get it.

Check out Deep Rock Galactic. I've been playing for 5 years now and have never ran into a toxic player. The community is known for being pretty friendly.

Yeah. I realize I didn't provide much context to my question. I understand it's Linux and that it's very pleasing to look at. My question was more about the function of it. Is it just a desktop screenshot or was this supposed to serve some sort of purpose (i.e. server stuff, etc), or demonstrate the function of some sort of program on Linu?.

Plating Is such an art form. I'm trying to learn for fun, but the number of odd side ingredients (flowers, leaves, sauces, etc) make sit difficult to actually pull off.
