In Republican's fever dream scenario, they'd consider splitting the nation up to be marooning 200 million people at gunpoint stranded to die standing room only on a military embargoed Puerto Rico. They'd call that perfectly fair and not mass murder.

Reagan set the table for fascism and every president since has furthered that outcome. Whether this happened in 2020,2024, 2028, this was happening.

So vote for the Neoliberals all you want. I do it out of the starfish parable, to one delayed fascist action, it matters, but we're still in a capitalist fascist hell, and until we have something to vote or riot for that will bring the capital markets to cinder, nothing can improve. You should feel like throwing up after voting here.

I think what this alludes to is the reality that the time and resources to self-actualize are still largely the domain of the owner class.

If you want to see the Democrat party treat a President as a threat to the nation that must be resisted at every turn, just elect President AOC. They're in a power sharing agreement with the Republicans.

If taxation is what they won't accept, They always saw your nation as something to be exploited and sucked dry, which means they were never on your society's side, which with such resources makes them incalculably dangerous.

If they fail the taxation test, the nation should be relieved when they run away.

The first wave was right. (equal legal rights)

The second wave had a good point. (reproductive rights and workplace discrimination)

The rest were just further attempted power grabs that don't even make the people they claim to represent happy. They tried to do what well meaning but ultimately misguided anti racism waves did by claiming gender shouldn't even be acknowledged aka "I don't even see the color." Which is it's own kind of bigotry.

Everyone should be allowed to fill the same role, but while a minority might be ecstatic in the corpo grinder, it made society worse for men and women more generally, and I don't see many women who enjoy being forced into the hunter gatherer role by the capitalists and the convenient femininists whose message they coopted to boost productivity by mandating ALL the poors make widgets for them if they want to subsist.

It hasn't been productive to raise women to believe it is essential that they defy gender norms as if it is their mission in life to do so. More than anyone else, modern feminists have culturally demeaned the role of being a wife and mother in society, which is ironic, since they seem dead set on making women fit the mold of the men they see as their oppressor.

Men and women are different, with different strengths and weaknesses and intrinsic desires. With overlap, there are things that make men happier and things that make women happier generally. We should have equality, but we've been trying to shoehorn both genders to be interchangable in any societal role en masse, and it's taken a massive toll on men and women in different ways.

As a democratic socialist I think I am more annoyed by neolibs than the Fascists. I wish the Fascists were gone more, but the neolibs found a way to be more insufferable.

Fascists largely seem to know they're selfish, hateful pricks and take a perverse pride in it. Note the shit eating grins and lazy circular arguments meant to provoke more than defend.

Liberals want to have their cake and eat it too. They have no problem with mass homelessness so long as it's not in their backyard, and they like record profits even when it involves legal murder of customers, but they blow a microchip when informed that means they work against society and are also selfish fucks who want there to be winners and losers instead of everyone having full bellies. You cant be for mass homelessness, for basic needs not being met by some while others have too much and be a decent person.

At least the Devil is the Devil and not perpetually trying to find the new middle ground of greed and power and asking to be called a good boy or girl for it. I prefer sociopaths that announce themselves.
