Sure it was a rough go through but In the end it really smoothed things over for me …

How much money is spent on a game and how much time no longer impresses me. It’s how the time and money is spent. Much can be wasted both on dead ends and bad ideas.

I remember Heart Of Darkness being advertised as a game 5 years in the making. From what I remember it didn’t sell well. And of course there is also Duke Nukem Forever.

Hope the game is a success last thing I want to see is another large studio with layoffs

I never said e3 was better. Given the options available now how they handle things now I’d argue could be done much better.

Is this purely yanking on my Nostalgia? Yes, will it really be better than other games ? Definitely not but I am I going to be a total moron and buy it anyway ? Yes .. yes I will.

I do remember and I’m also definitely not going to say those were better days. I just think given what we can do now I believe most of the current formats could do with some change. I like Steam NextFest I think some alterations there even for just more trailers could be a truly special experience.

Just can’t over do it with crap like NextFest can do at times …

Personally I never felt like AN abandoned Guild Wars 1. They built out the story as they wanted to made some fantastic collector items with each physical release. And while no they didn’t bug fix or add content I felt like if I wanted to I could always get the game running.

With the sequel it’s different. It’s a massive game One that’s going to be a challenge for them to surpass. While I wouldn’t be mad if new content seized to drop I’d expect at least bug fixes. If they were true hero’s we’d see true small free living world updates forever.

I am beyond excited about GW 3 I really hope for a true real time combat system
