Techcrunch: Threads says it will make its API broadly available by June

Meta-owned social network Threads said today that it will make its API broadly available to developers by June.

Does anyone actually use Threads? I don't know one person who uses it.
- According to Facebook, everyone with an Instagram account uses threads (because they pretty much automatically signed them all up for it).
I am not a fan of Meta or Zuckerberg at all. And I don't trust them as far as I could throw them (with either personal data or any assumptions that they won't renage on this idea in a year or twos time). But this sly "fuck you reddit" announcement made me chuckle.
